Secondary becomes primary problem for Browns

You "fans" that are ready to fire RAC before the first game need to get a frickin' clue. The Browns offense looked terrible last preseason and they were terrific last year. I'm going to have faith that RAC and Savage know what they're doing and they'll have the Browns ready for this tough regular season schedule. Go Browns!!!  (Aug 24, 2008 | post #15)

Quinn finally gets shot to play with first team

At least will get to see if the hype matches his actual ability; though it's obviously going to take more than one preseason game either way to make that judgment. Hopefully the o-line will perform better so Quinn will have a fair chance.  (Aug 23, 2008 | post #2)

Big Ten Network, Time Warner Cable talks contentious

Sure, I'd like to have BTN, but I'd rather be enjoying the outdoors while I can instead of watching the tremendous matchup of OSU v. YSU. I'll take a radio with me  (Aug 23, 2008 | post #2)

Rush of bad luck runs over Browns

Of course the Browns were not going to show the Giants anything other than vanilla on both sides of the ball, but there's no excuse for the stupid penalties and the dreadful blocking by the O-line -- the team supposed strength. Romeo needs to take a look in the mirror and ask himself if going so easy on the team during camp is paying off. it's not time to panic, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned.  (Aug 19, 2008 | post #34)

Dog owners could pay fee at Stow park

Speaking as a non Stow resident, I don't have a problem with a "pay to play" policy. At Hudson Springs Park, anyone can use the park or play disc golf for free, but if you want to fish as a non-resident, then you have to pay. No one is forcing anybody to do so. You don't have the right to a free dog park.  (Jun 30, 2008 | post #21)

Dog owners could pay fee at Stow park

The problem is ALWAYS going to be the lazy owner that doesn't want to exercise their dog any other way than to just let it off it's leash and go sit down and BS with the other crappy pet owners. This park should be used as a treat for good dog behavior, not a dog run for out of control dogs. If your pet is not social or if your not sure then KEEP THEM OUT!  (Jun 30, 2008 | post #8)

Howe House move set for Monday

Not a surprising comment coming from Barberton, a community that generally has not respected it's history, tearing down most of its significant structures over the years. Congrats to the City of Akron and Canal Coalition!  (Jun 27, 2008 | post #3)

Google takes Akron view from street

The "to 303" signs at Terex traveling East (also at Stow Rd traveling West) are meant for truck traffic as an alternate route to bypass Downtown Hudson. You could have made one phone call to the city and found out that info instead of quoting a random clueless resident to try and spin your point of view that the sign makes no sense.  (Jun 27, 2008 | post #10)

History, amusement park rides for sale

Cedar Fair bought it to close it down and sell the land for a fortune. The water park will soon follow. Just what that area needs -- more McMansions and big box retail -- WOOHOO!! We loves us some suburban sprawl in these here parts  (Jun 17, 2008 | post #32)

Couple relives son's suicide in push for Y-Bridge fence

Aren't most tall bridges fenced? I know the Valley View bridge is. Put the fence up, it will deter people from jumping.  (Jun 16, 2008 | post #14)
