Drew's Law, a misguided reaction to a tragedy: Editorial

The story doesn't say how the accident happened. Was the driver at fault or did the child step into traffic? If no laws were broken and this is just a tragic accident, why does anyone think that changing laws would stop accidents from happening? It's always a reactive response instead of being pro-active. If something is wrong with the area then you fix the danger. Proposing more laws doesn't work if you don't enforce the laws already in place.  (Nov 13, 2014 | post #2)

Take a stroll through "Your Brain"

It was a great time going through the Franklin Science Museum. The kids had a blast and it was a great honor for us to be chosen as the first family in the country to be allowed into the new "This is your brain" exhibit. I urge everyone family to go there. Everything is hands on. The staff was very friendly and the kids had a great time. It took almost 5 hours to walk completely through the building seeing everything. And that was just the basic package. Can even tell you how long it would be if you went through the IMax stuff and other exhibits. It was a great great day.  (Jun 14, 2014 | post #1)

Humanists Sue NJ School District over 'Under God' in Pled...

Now if the town has any gutts they'll tell the parents "NO" The pledge of allegiance remains whole. If the parents want their children to omit this part while reciting it, then that's fine. But, nothing should be changed, because of their idiotic sense that WE have to change everything because they don't like it. Don't like it, don't say it.  (May 2, 2014 | post #1)

Marijuana - Old Bridge, NJ

First off, I don't care about polls or studies or statistics or any of that nonsense. We all know that study groups skew results in order to maintain funding. It's done on pro sides and against sides. I base my beliefs on my life experiences. The people that I know who have used marijuana consistantly for decades. I also use my experience working in jails for 2 and 1/2 decades. After speaking with tens of thousands of drug addicts and knowing the people I mentioned there is no doubt that marijuana is a gateway drug and that it causes long lasting ill affects on "most" of the people that use it. Plus, today's marijuana is many times stronger than marijuana of the 70's and 80's. You can say what you want and you can believe what you want, but I KNOW how bad marijuana is.  (Apr 27, 2014 | post #8)
