Hill Agrees to Two-Year Deal With Suns -- OrlandoSentinel...

Magic's loyalty". Guess what Tragic fans, once Grant signed that contract 7 years ago, Orlando's loyalty was locked in! They couldn't release or waive him. They couldn't buy him out (unless he agreed). This isn't the NFL where teams can release a player at any time. That makes it pretty easy to seem "loyal"! I'm sure if they could've cut Grant when he was injured they would have.  (Jul 13, 2007 | post #26)

Grant Hill leaving Orlando Magic for Suns -- OrlandoSenti...

Read the posts, SCRUB, you're not the only Magic fan in this forum and plenty of you guys are talking about him "sucking " (which is why I don't understand the uproar). Orlando expressed little interest AFTER the season and didn't make an offer when he was being courted by other squads. They seemed to be focused on Rashard Lewis (as they should have), not Hill. If they REALLY wanted him, they could've kept him, plain and simple. I just cannot believe the hating that Grant's received from you Magic fans; the guy doesn't owe Orlando a DAMN thing, he fulfilled his contract, case closed!  (Jul 13, 2007 | post #398)

Hill Agrees to Two-Year Deal With Suns

Another upset Magic fan! Look, the man signed a contract that was OFFERED to him by Orlando and he fulfilled that contract, case closed! He doesn't owe Orlando a damn thing. It's not his fault he was hurt, shyt happens, but Magic officials knew he was damaged good when they picked him up. If Orlando wanted him they should've signed him to an extension before he became a free agent. Get over it!  (Jul 12, 2007 | post #2)

NAACP to Symbolically Bury N Word

Damn, I didn't know it was THIS many ignorant assholes in America! 39 pages of white folks ranting and raving over something that doesn't concern them-unless you like to use the word. But then, it doesn't affect you anyway because you racists could care less about what the NAACP thinks! The only people who still think that the NAACP is relevant are WHITE PEOPLE! They haven't represented the majority of Black America since the 70s! Haven't you all realized that YOU are the ones who empower Jesse and Al and the rest of these antiquated "leaders " because you seem to pay them more attention to them then Black folks do?! Instead of worrying about what going on in black communities you honkey, craka, redneck, whitebread bastards need to concentrate on fighting to keep your Confederate flags flying down South!  (Jul 12, 2007 | post #872)

If they wanted to keep Grant then they should have extended his contract instead of letting him become a free agent! You Magic fans are hilarious; in one breath you bytch about Grant stealing money (93mil that Orlando GAVE him) and in another you talk about how he sucks! The last I heard he signed a 7 year deal w/ the Magic, not a lifetime one! Move on and get over it!  (Jul 10, 2007 | post #383)

Grant Hill leaving Orlando Magic for Suns -- OrlandoSenti...

My you Magic fans are hostile! Hill didn't "rob" Orlando of anything-if he was hurt, then he was hurt! Magic mgmt knew he was hurt when they traded for him...maybe they should shoulder some of the blame. Congrats to my Suns for adding a quality, veteran player to assist them on their quest for a ring! Fret not, Orlando, Rashard Lewis will more than fill the void left by Hill and his 15ppg.  (Jul 5, 2007 | post #221)

Suns get Strawberry at No. 59

As a former Terp and current Suns fan, I'm hoping that DJ can win a roster spot. With his defense and hustle he should be able to find a role-a la Raja Bell-on this team. If he can improve his jumper he'll be a valuable piece in the future.  (Jun 29, 2007 | post #2)

Dallas Cowboys

Which game was it when Emmitt took the football, and said...

Sean, you are correct! After T.O. had went to the star at midfield to celebrate his first score Emmitt decided to reclaim his stake in Texas Stadium by doing the same! Then when Owens tried to do it again after a second score he was abruptly removed from the star by Mr. Teague!  (Jun 18, 2007 | post #2)

I believe you're overestimating yourself, Billy. Philly fans aren't capable of actual, cohesive thoughts from what I hear! Philly fans = GEICO cavemen! So easy, even an Eagles fan can do it!  (Jun 7, 2007 | post #149)

T.O. Getting Bonus Without Practicing

You're right, people like you who serve the community and save and protect us deserve to make ALOT more money, but unfortunately our great country doesn't facilitate that. On the other hand, T.O. and the rest of the professional athletes are working in the PRIVATE SECTOR, meaning they can be paid whatever their ownership sees fit. For you to say Owens isn't working is just asinine. The guy ONLY led the NFL in TD receptions last season along with 80+ catches and over 1100 yards. Sounds like he's earning his dough to me. Now the guy can be a pain but c,mon, nothing he had done last year was on par with his stints in Philly and SF.  (Jun 6, 2007 | post #11)

This is where we differ, Philip. I have ONLY liked the Cowboys, but I do respect some of the above-mentioned teams. I disliked the 70s Steelers, 80s & 90s Niners, 85 Bears, and any and all Skins and Eagles teams. I've never had the disdain for the NYG like the other teams in the division for whatever reason.  (Jun 6, 2007 | post #140)
