i tell you we really got screwed when we lost the long lane site to wesleyan and we got stuck with the youth prison. then our esteemed reps. forgot to make the proper applications for state grants and we lost the goodspeed theater. imagine both the middle and high school on one big campus on long lane with easy access to some of wesleyan's facilities.  (Mar 25, 2009 | post #9)

Democrats Try To Show Pain Of Balanced Budget

typical little child temper tantrum...if you dont let me do what i want i will hold my breath and pass out. sometimes its best to let em. does anyone actually believe they would cut education, public safety, etc? this is exactly how local board of eds. get their way. when they release a budget, if there is opposition, they immediately statt talking cutting popular programs in order to get the most negative reaction thereby getting the original budget passed. i say let these children in hftd. go ahead and try to make these cuts. the best thing that could come out of it is they wont be sent back to hftd. in next elections.  (Mar 10, 2009 | post #4)
