About 700 line up at Auraria for tickets for Obama

I agree that government is bloated. There is room for improvement. The thing is, we're a bit too far into this mess to just scrap it. While Libya and Egypt overthrew their governments, that revolution left a smoldering pile of wreckage in its wake. Do you want to go for a while without the basic securities that you're guaranteed by our current government while a new one is cobbled together? How about no hospitals, or police forces, or snow plows to clear the roads tonight?  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #51)

Woaaaahhhhhh!!!!! Lets reel in the racist undertones a bit... It may not have been intended to come out that way, but it sounded a bit rough to my sensitive liberal ears. In the previous post you said we should scrap the government and start over, this time actually following the constitution. I'm pretty sure the 15th amendment guarantees that "The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude." Keep this in mind: There are a whole lot of debilitatingly ignorant white folks out there too. Lets not leave their uninformed shitty decisions out of the sweeping generalities that we're laying down.  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #50)

According to a 2004 study, more than likely yes. Only 13.7% of blacks identified as "Conservative " or "Extremely Conservative" with another 14.4% identifying as slightly conservative.  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #46)

While your poignant statement really is making me re-think my beliefs and want to move to the woods and start working towards the abolition of organized government, I must say that I would love to see you do a better job with the steaming festering pile of sh** that was left behind as Bush exited office.  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #45)

What nobody is paying attention to here is that there were only 4000 spots available that were gone in under an hour yesterday. The 700 that were in line were just waiting for a chance to maybe see the leader of the free world speak. Why is it that nobody ever is interested in the entire story, just the part that is convenient to their argument? http://www.9news.c om/dontmiss/221300 /630/President-Oba ma-in-Denver-Tuesd ay  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #43)

I bet it was awkward explaining that to the ER Nurse...  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #5)

Sniper... You're forgetting one key thing here. We're already out of money. How about this. They can have their student loans paid off with borrowed Chinese money, and then they can go work in rural China to balance the scales a bit. How does that sound?  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #33)

Pft... They can continue to hope for change there... Their debt will follow them for the rest of eternity.  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #30)

Oh man... Doesn't that get sweaty? I prefer paper towels. Much more breathable.  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #5)

Typically the secret service doesn't allow people that close to the president. Can you please explain to me how correcting horrifyingly bad punctuation, grammar, and spelling is a socialist trait? If anything it's more of a trait exhibited by people who are more intelligent than grade school dropouts. Sorry, I forgot, being a proponent of a solid education would just make me a bleeding heart liberal, which in your narrow mind means socialist. My sincere apologies.  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #28)

I think that beliefs aside, we can all agree that most politicians are clowns. Yay or nay?  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #24)

Definitely no Levis. Those last waaaaay too long to be sold in their stores. It's a great place to go if you need something that you're going to wear once. Really cheap, but it doesn't really last.  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #3)

Wow, where do I even begin? Ehhh, I'll save my breath since you would obviously be too confused by my response anyway. Before you start calling people names and insinuating that they are an idiot, maybe you should learn more about the various forms of the word "to". Who is the pot and who is the kettle now?  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #20)

I think you might be opening a can of worms there. The conservative clowns might be offended by associating him with them!  (Oct 25, 2011 | post #19)
