Sounds like Open borders talk to me! (Monday Jun 17 | post #9)
More Chinese women are traveling to America to give birth Beijing - Wang Rong, who is six-months pregnant, is about to leave Beijing for California so she can give birth to her baby in the United States and give the child its first gift - US citizenship. The special delivery will cost Wang and her husband, both white-collar workers in the capital, 100,000 yuan ($15,000), but they say it is money well spent. The expenditure will cover all costs, including services before departure, medical care in the US and a three-month stay there, thanks to the help of a Shanghai-based agency that specializes in taking mainland moms to North America. "Given the quality of educational resources and employment prospects in China, where there is a huge population and harsh competition, I want my baby to win at the starting line by obtaining US citizenship," she said. The cost to deliver a baby in the US is far higher than in Beijing, but still affordable for the couple, which makes nearly 250,000 yuan a year, she said. The list of benefits runs long for babies born in the US, says Jiang Feng, the Chinese mainland partner of the agency, which originated in Taiwan. Jiang said babies born in the US will, at the very least, be entitled to a place at an American public university, which is favored by many parents over domestic institutions, both for quality of teaching and cheaper tuition. "The number of mainland customers has been skyrocketing since we opened the branch in late 2008, right after the US opened tourist visa applications to Chinese individuals," he told China Daily. http://www.chinada ily.com.cn/china/2 010-07/03/content_ 10054076.htm (Monday Jun 17 | post #8)
" Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida argued this morning on "This Week" that a key provision of the bill, the so-called "pathway to citizenship" for undocumented immigrants, would not give anything away". Sure it does Senator, it gives or sells our American citizenship to 11 million illegal aliens that broke our Immigration Laws to get here! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX It's sad when some politicians and segments of our population want to degrade our American Citizenship to the point where it has no value or meaning. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX "This amnesty will give citizenship to only 1.1 to 1.3 million illegal aliens. We will secure the borders henceforth. We will never again bring forward another amnesty bill like this." -- Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy on the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX DEMOCRATS ARE LIARS! "The agreement we just reached is the best possible chance we will have in. years to secure our borders, bring millions of people out of the shadows and. into the sunshine of America". May 17, 2007. Most "AMERICANS " don't want to grant our Citizenship to 11 million illegal aliens (Hispanics excluded) that broke our immigration laws to get here. There's nothing that makes me madder than to be standing in a long line to get into a movie and some dimwit tries to step to the head of the line like they don't have to wait! It reminds me of the illegal aliens and their Hispanic supporters! (Monday Jun 17 | post #17)
Start with this Ryan! Illegal Aliens Receive Billions in IRS Tax Benefits Friday, 23 Sep 2011 05:17 PM By James Walsh On July 7, 2011, the U.S. Department of Treasury's inspector general for tax administration issued a startling report entitled "Individuals Who Are Not Authorized to Work in the United States Were Paid $4.2 Billion in Refundable Credits." No wonder the nation's finances are in turmoil. ******It is clear that unauthorized aliens are filing ITIN tax returns with fraudulent data.****** The Treasury report found that "One common type of fraudulent refund involves taxpayers fabricating a Wage and Tax Statement (Form W-2) that shows excess withholding and results in a tax refund." Flashback: Off-duty cops to monitor construction workers at Duval courthouse site Last month, 103 of about 350 workers found with fake IDs Off-duty police officers will be checking the IDs of every worker who steps foot on the Duval County Courthouse construction site - one of the latest steps aimed at screening out undocumented workers. Jacksonville city officials have also pushed all companies on the downtown project to use E-Verify, an Internet-based system used to determine a person's eligibility to work in the United States. The precaution is required for all federal projects. The measures are part of the city's ongoing struggle with undocumented workers on the courthouse project. After three rounds of arrests this fall, a cross-check of records by federal immigration officials last month found 103 of about 350 workers authorized to work on the site provided what appeared to be false identification documents. About half of the 103 were still working at the site at the time of the check. They've been banned from the project until they can be cleared by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, city spokeswoman Misty Skipper said. All of the workers with questionable documentation either work for United Forming, the company doing concrete work on the $350 million project, or one of United Forming's subcontractors, Skipper said. After the false documents were discovered Nov. 9, city officials asked their attorneys to look into possible sanctions for Turner Construction, the company overseeing the project. The General Counsel's Office is still reviewing the matter. The city's contract with Turner allows for termination if the company knowingly allows undocumented workers on the site, but both Turner and United Forming say they didn't know the workers were illegal immigrants. http://jacksonvill e.com/news/metro/2 009-12-02/story/of f_duty_cops_to_mon itor_construction_ workers_at_duval_c ourthouse_site (Friday Jun 14 | post #8)
