We had 8 people. We also have workers compensation insurance. Worst case scenario 2 weeks best case 1. At this point we are waiting on work that has to be done.  (Jun 4, 2013 | post #309)

BTW workers compensation is required at five or more employees. The rest of your ideas are just as wrong. You should try getting your facts straight before you go blah blah blahing all over the place.  (Jun 4, 2013 | post #307)

Question about CGB

Well odd or not it's a fact. Our auto and liability are though different companies.  (May 30, 2013 | post #21)

Question about CGB

FYI our liability insurance has never lapsed. There has never been a time the public wasn't covered. Have no fear.  (May 30, 2013 | post #18)

How's about we quit calling people horrible names? This community has embraced CGB and supported us at every turn. Morristown is a wonderful town filled with great people. Seems to me like we are underestimated more often than not. Lets not let a couple of jerks here on topix ruffle our feathers. BTW the way we shot up in the last day was with the help of a big corporate pledge. They decided it would be an awesome way to get CGB to feed their people. However, almost half of it was small pledges and we are very grateful that people believe in what we are doing.  (May 29, 2013 | post #269)

WE MADE IT! Thanks to all our backers. Thanks to our friends, family, loyal customers and new customers! We are You've made this Kickstarter project a success. We've got lots of exciting ideas for the coming year. First we've got to get back on the road. Thanks again!  (May 29, 2013 | post #263)

I was literally the post just before you. I've already said my peace about the insurance so I'm not going to get into that anymore. However I did have an employee that was hurt. They were unable to file a workers comp claim the reason for this has nothing to do with me. I took care of it. I have no regrets there.  (May 22, 2013 | post #205)

guys, stop worrying so much. We're going to be OK. We will get these trucks open one way or the other. I do appreciate all the concern and attention and all of your critiquing of my business. Mostly I really appreciate the loyal customers that we have. They kept us in business and growing over the last year and will keep us growing in the future. just a reminder we were rocking a 99 health score one of the highest in the county.  (May 22, 2013 | post #202)

Again kickstarter isn't a "handout " its crowd funding. We are offering some super cool rewards for our backers. Hats, shirts, TN Best basket, advertising space, private dinners, gift cards, catered events..... so it is just something new and different.  (May 19, 2013 | post #107)

Lol. In fact we have three policies. One policy for the truck. One for our business liability and then workers compensation. I have always been very open and honest and will continue to be.  (May 19, 2013 | post #106)

I've seen this posted a few times so i thought I'd respond. our company has several types of insurance. Our liability insurance was never expired. BTW our burger is 0.20 higher than McDonald's black angus and a combo is $2 less than 5 Guys.  (May 18, 2013 | post #91)

We went with kickstarter because it is cutting edge and social media focused. Did the best I could do the video :)  (May 15, 2013 | post #28)

We can feed 300 in less than an hour. Catering is different than our regular service. It isn't cooked to order. You know how many people what time they are eating ect  (May 15, 2013 | post #24)

We've put together 9 events for 300+ over the last year.  (May 15, 2013 | post #20)

So the way Kickstarter works is you have a pledge/reward system. Customers, supporters, family and friends pledge money and receive these rewards. The rewards we are offering range from hats and shirts to a 300 person catered event. We will be up and running again pretty soon. Two trucks... top of the line food, customer service and top notch health scores. I really don't care if you respect me or not. I am giving our customers the opportunity to help rebuild the truck. Crowd funding is a fairly common way projects are funded these days. It isn't that different than people looking to banks for lines of credit or selling bonds. In fact it is very much in keeping with our keep it local concept.  (May 15, 2013 | post #14)
