Again kickstarter isn't a "handout " its crowd funding. We are offering some super cool rewards for our backers. Hats, shirts, TN Best basket, advertising space, private dinners, gift cards, catered events..... so it is just something new and different. (22 hrs ago | post #107)
Lol. In fact we have three policies. One policy for the truck. One for our business liability and then workers compensation. I have always been very open and honest and will continue to be. (23 hrs ago | post #106)
I've seen this posted a few times so i thought I'd respond. our company has several types of insurance. Our liability insurance was never expired. BTW our burger is 0.20 higher than McDonald's black angus and a combo is $2 less than 5 Guys. (Saturday | post #91)
We went with kickstarter because it is cutting edge and social media focused. Did the best I could do the video :) (Wednesday May 15 | post #28)
We can feed 300 in less than an hour. Catering is different than our regular service. It isn't cooked to order. You know how many people what time they are eating ect (Wednesday May 15 | post #24)
We've put together 9 events for 300+ over the last year. (Wednesday May 15 | post #20)
So the way Kickstarter works is you have a pledge/reward system. Customers, supporters, family and friends pledge money and receive these rewards. The rewards we are offering range from hats and shirts to a 300 person catered event. We will be up and running again pretty soon. Two trucks... top of the line food, customer service and top notch health scores. I really don't care if you respect me or not. I am giving our customers the opportunity to help rebuild the truck. Crowd funding is a fairly common way projects are funded these days. It isn't that different than people looking to banks for lines of credit or selling bonds. In fact it is very much in keeping with our keep it local concept. (Wednesday May 15 | post #14)
Why is crazy good burger closing
We are getting it worked out. No worries. We will have both trucks on the road soon! (Sunday May 12 | post #17)
Should this drug and terrorist money laundering bank get off with this wrist slap? (Dec 13, 2012 | post #1)
Crazy Good COOKOUT! Forget the truck, save a buck!
Crazy Good Burgers is a local, family-owned business. I am a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York. I am Serv-Safe certified and focused not only on quality of our product but also its safety. I have addressed the restroom nonsense already with Weigles as the answer. The Mushroom and Swiss burger is amazing. Fresh cut mushrooms sauteed with onions to order, swiss cheese, mayo and a thick slice of tomato. I look forward to talking to you. I open all this week so I will be there for the lunch shift. (Dec 3, 2012 | post #120)
to clear up something that's quite disturbing: we have two sinks on the truck. 1 is the hand washing sink the other is a 3 compartment sink for washing dishes. We use the restroom at Weigel's when we go to buy drinks. our meat is ground each everyday fresh from Chuck and sirloin. The burgers are cooked to order not pre cooked not held. cooked to order I've never delete a facebook post of any kind positive or negative. We have steady stream of new customers and very dedicated repeat customers. I didn't bring up my truck on this thread my truck was mentioned on the 2nd posting and several times after that. I'm merely defending myself in responding to asinine comments. also I've never told a customer that they were wrong if anybody has any problem with their food we fix it no questions asked. So in that regard you're telling something that's not true. also when we first opened my wife didn't work out front my mother in law did. no but not killers, and I'm very pleased the cookout doing well the more of this on the strip to do well the better off we all are. I don't move my truck because I do well where I am there's no point moving. If you want to see the truck moved come by around 1030 or around 8 o'clock and you can watch it drive down the street. (Dec 1, 2012 | post #97)
I didn't bring up the truck or my shakes on this thread. This thread was talking a lot about my truck so I thought I'd throw in some facts, (Nov 29, 2012 | post #49)
I would call that an absurd rant of nonsense by a very bored or obsessed individual. I wonder how many hours a day "really" spends thinking about the truck. BTW we don't sell tacos so it isnt a taco truck ;) (Nov 29, 2012 | post #45)
