This is change?

I think they would be very wise to change their policy on this one. But they won't. He is a read and react President. Unfortunately the water has passed under the bridge, and they have already afforded this terrorist due process. Their comments indicate that they see this as an isolated incident. There are hundreds out there waiting to do the same thing and we need every piece of intel we can get to stop them. Political correctness be damned.  (Jan 9, 2010 | post #493)

To quote you: "It's Bush's fault". Not much more to say about these posts. Never heard anything about this stuff until just right now. Did see where gangs in Denver are attacking whites just because of their race. But not in the mainstream media. Will wait to see the three stooges response to what you have posted.  (Jan 8, 2010 | post #456)

As much as $9.5 million in federal stimulus dollars went to 14 zip codes in Virginia that don’t exist or are in other states, Old Dominion Watchdog (http://virginia.w atchdog.org) reports. The fake zip codes were listed on Recovery.gov, the federal Web site that is supposed to track how the stimulus money is being used  (Jan 7, 2010 | post #435)

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama signaled to House Democratic leaders Wednesday that they'll have to drop their opposition to taxing high-end health insurance plans to pay for health coverage for millions of uninsured Americans. In a meeting at the White House, Obama expressed his preference for the insurance tax contained in the Senate's health overhaul bill, but largely opposed by House Democrats and organized labor, Democratic aides said. The aides spoke on condition of anonymity because the meeting was private. House Democrats want to raise income taxes on high-income individuals instead and are reluctant to abandon that approach, while recognizing that they will have to bend on that and other issues so that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., can maintain his fragile 60-vote majority support for the bill. No new taxes>>> more change.....and lies.  (Jan 6, 2010 | post #432)

While two Senate Democrats already have seen the handwriting on the wall and bailed out of re-election races, five others trail Republicans in states where President Obama and his trillion-dollar health-care-reform plan are increasingly unpopular. From Nevada, where Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid trails badly, to Arkansas, where Sen. Blanche Lincoln is polling at just 40 percent in head-to-head matchups with four possible Republican challengers, opposition to the health-care bill is reverberating. "As numerous polls continue to reflect, Americans in key battleground states disapprove of the president's massive health-care proposal and the partisan manner in which Democrats have pursued it," Sen. John Cornyn of Texas, chairman of the Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee, told The Washington Times. UH...OH!  (Jan 6, 2010 | post #431)

Whether your comrade drake chooses to accept it or not is of no consequence, you know how many posts I have made about the failure that was the Bush Presidency. Yet you conveniently forget some key elements in your post. During Clintons last year, people lost billions in the stock market, al qaeda was attacking on a regular basis and getting stronger, banks were loaning to people who could not afford them, which eventually caused the financial collapse, and the welfare reform of the conservative "contract with America" was saving the government billions. Bush came in, saw the threat to American security and acted, good job on his part, however his fiscal policies were that of a closet democrat, spend, spend, spend. Then you have partisan democrats blocking financial reform like Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and the vicious cycle began. You ask why hussein wants the job, because he thinks socialism will work. He is wrong, and his title of the "first black President" should not overshadow this failings.  (Jan 5, 2010 | post #408)

While I agree with your list, not sure it is going to happen. This President does not desire to tarnish the image he has of himself by admitting any wrongdoing. If he could develop humility as a character trait he would not be so bad. Oh yeah, and drop the rush to socialism.  (Jan 4, 2010 | post #382)

The federal government is piling up debt at an alarming rate — it was at 40 percent of the GDP in 2008, 55 percent this year and is estimated by the Congressional Budget Office to rise to 87 percent in 2020, 181 percent in 2035 and 321 percent in 2050.  (Jan 1, 2010 | post #380)

Try posting something other than grade school attempts at name calling. You can't tell why B Hussein is the best candidate? What are the reasons? Because he says he will bring change? Please liberal guru, tell us how he will bring this change.  (May 12, 2008 | post #218)
