That's because Bill Cosby isn't trying to blame white people for the black community's problems, unlike, Jesse Jackson and Al Shartopn. He's positve and uplifing and someone who has done wonderful things in his life. He has the attitude and values that many Americans can relate to. He's educated and speaks proper English, unlike a certain number in the black community that speak Ebonese and have absolutely no goals or aspirations in life, other than ridng around in a new car and having lots of jewelary hanging from their necks. Hopefully, at sometime in the future the educated, ethical and moral blacks will outnumber the low class thugs from the "hood". A theory does not have to be based on facts; it can be based on the "most likely" reasons something occured. Evolution is a theory based on very little in the way of facts. While science has helped us develop new medicines, it is not the answer to everything. Science is not perfect and to expect it to provide answers for everything is foolish. You're right. I think it's based on education. Just as there are classes of whites who speak and/or write poorly, the same is true of other ethnicities. And, thanks to television and other media, it is perpetuated by their programming. It's always a black person who is a drug dealer or pimp according to t.v. (Sunday Jul 6 | post #102)
