RIVERSIDE: City wary of Moreno Valley warehouses

here another thing to think about, its really amazing to hear and also read, that the council, city mgt, and even Dr. Husing point out how uneducated "we" are. low income, inbreads etc...but the mayor, who is a lawyer can say hubbub? seriously? that sounds more unedcated and he is a lawyer. Also:Stewart said he is puzzled by Loveridge’s concerns, because the Riverside mayor has been supportive of the March Joint Powers Authority’s 1,290-acre Meridian Business Park just east of Riverside off Interstate 215....is he confused on the interview or article that is being written? the JPA is three city's collabration, not MOVAL. We are talking about the Moreno Valley's project, not JPA's project that really does not have nothing to do with Moreno Valley. http://www.marchjp a.com/  (Apr 9, 2012 | post #3)

RIVERSIDE: City wary of Moreno Valley warehouses

just my opinion, if something this big is going to happen, i would think that the city's should have gotten together about this and gave advice. i understand each city's plans are its own, but something this big, all of them should have had some special planning and then presented it to the public  (Apr 9, 2012 | post #2)

RIVERSIDE: City wary of Moreno Valley warehouses

Seems to me that every one is now paying attention on what is going on. those who have concern that live in neighboring cities should go to every moval council meeting and address all of these issues including there council reps. I see this is going to be a long battle with actual job creations, environmental issues and more. http://www.pe.com/ business/business- headlines/20120408 -logistics-highlan d-fairview-project -considered-a-gamb le.ece  (Apr 9, 2012 | post #1)

Moreno Valley: Rios arrested on suspicion of rape, pimping

overall, with issues all around the California School system with pedophile teachers and school board members shooting at people and pimping women and underage girls, they need to have a meeting with the state board and change there proceedures. times have changed now, people who committed crimes 20 years ago are just now coming into light. we need to make our schools safer to inlcude those who make decisions for the schools. its time that everyone go to the state capitol and demand change!  (Apr 5, 2012 | post #11)

MORENO VALLEY: City sellout?

according to council, iddo and the city mananger, we are going to have "world logisitics".. ...its all in the name...(lol) so if those city's had World Logistics, they wouldnt be banning them. but seriously, i know, i dont know and get a headache trying to really figure this warehouse thing out. its worse when beenie babies were the craz. i feel like i live in one hit wonderland. its really disgusting that my tax payer money, is paying a city mananger, who technically has not come up with these ideas or any persiod! he is an overpaid paper pusher.  (Apr 5, 2012 | post #5)

MORENO VALLEY: City sellout?

I found it!! OMG, and i dont remember anyone brining that up! of course they want to split the city, why do you think we have Rancho Bologna. it seems that no one is realizing the (just observation) the city pretty much sold this side of town to this creep. i keep trying to tell people, he is nutts, the city doesnt care, and the people need to stop and figure out what is happening.  (Apr 5, 2012 | post #4)

MORENO VALLEY: City sellout?

I know that we are in a hard economic time here in America, but we all have to realize, issues start here in our own home(local city government). The events going on in Moreno Valley do impact the city as a whole, regardless if we care or not. Iddo building mega warehouses does impact us as taxpaying citizens. People do not realize, the city and Iddo have the power to do what it takes for land use. We all need to start asking ourself’s, why do we pay a high priced city manager who thinks us citizens are worth $10-12 dollars an hour? Why all the favoritism to one developer who’s past only starts in the early 90’s? Why hasn’t he finished his house on the hill, why does he lives from hotel to motel to unknown? Who really is Iddo Benzeevi?, and why did the DoD and city of San Bernardino shoot down his Norton Project? Yes we need jobs, but make the city manager earn his money and bring back better paying jobs, so a family can have a good retirement and savings. Bring the better jobs to Moval so at least the young kids, young adults have something to look forward to and contribute to our own community and get some type of education. We need to take control on what is really right, because what is going on now, will affect us in a long run. Let’s not find short term fixes, because they fail. We need long term advantages for our community. If people who are in favor of this corruption(the Iddo Circus) we all need to start asking them hard hit questions. why they are against environmental impacts that will destroy a State Habitat? why is the city doing there own study and not an outside source? why do they think low paying jobs is the answer? We the "naysayers " are tired of it. We dont pull facts out of a magic hat, we reserach and we study. those who think this man is the second coming, they are going straight underneath the dirt. The people in the community are either afraid, bullied or just dont care. The city has become very divided since Highland Fairview came into town. With what is going on, no one wants to invest out here in Moreno Valley and who can blame them, we have a school board member Pimp, and a unkown broke developer who is taking the tax payer money for his own personal gain. This is worse than Bell, and we are making Bell look like DisneyLand. Its time that we really need to stand up.  (Apr 5, 2012 | post #3)
