Central Middle School Brick Dumped in Floodplain zoned AE

The real concern is this; the bricks were sent to several locations here in town that were supposed to be disposed of based on the rules and laws enforced by Indiana Department of Environmental Management.(IDEM) Instead, they dumped them in a floodplain without permits. The zone in which these bricks were placed is labeled “AE” which means: “Areas subject to inundation by the 1-percent-annual chance flood event determined by detailed methods. Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) are shown. Mandatory flood insurance purchase requirements and floodplain management standards apply.” Keep in mind you can’t get permits to dump in a floodplain without special consideration. If contaminates are hazardous material like “asphalt, oil, chemicals, etc…” which are on this property, no permits or permission can be acquired. Well let me start off by saying the newspaper is one of the biggest liars, they are crooked and only publish what they want whether its news or not, and most of the time they don't publish the news that needs to be told. Donation huh? Is this recorded in the books, or pocketed by the man doing the filling... I am all for getting my pool filled by a large tanker... just more factors play into it... How much does the water cost plus fuel and time and equipment wear... Just how much of a donation is required, is it a set amount? or does it vary from each person? Indianapolis Colts Fan Fest and Jester Kings visit Columbus

Columbus Indiana, June, 24th 2009 – Approximately 200-300 people showed up to the Indianapolis Colts Fan Fest in Mill Race Park located in Columbus Indiana. The heat didn’t keep anyone away while they waited in the line to get an autograph from one of the 4 Colts members (Eric Foster,Pierre Garcon)that could have taken more than hour to get to. While people enjoyed browsing the booths gathering free stuff from different vendors whether they were local or from the rest of the state; Coke Zero was on hand giving out free soda and the colts gave out posters and photos to be signed if you failed to bring anything; all the while listening to the Jester Kings perform on stage.
