Orlando Magic blow big lead, lose to Charlotte Bobcats

while you all talk about losing a 19 point lead... I am upset at the coach! If Dooling is playing like crap at both ends of the floor why not play Redick? The bobcats were scoring at will on the second half and no one could stop them and our offense disappear...then bring JJ to the floor and he could give us some energy. Lewis talked earlier on an interview saying we was going to be more aggressive and score more just like the night against the bulls! mmmmm where was Lewis tonight? Maybe thinking about how well he played against the bulls!  (Jan 16, 2008 | post #15)

What should the Magic be looking for in a trade?

I voted for PF. I'm sure Howard wouldn't mind losing the rebounding title b/c of it. He is playing way too many minutes and has to do a lot of work when he is playing and that's gonna get him tired for the playoffs. This is when we think back and look at R. Evans. A PF who can rebound and does not need to score. We need a PF that can only do the dirty work and not someone who demands the ball. I know most of you won't agree, but we should've kept Ariza and use the exception to sign Webber. He can score and get some rebounds. This is not time to regret, but I can't help it! I think Otis will trade at least 2 of the expiring contracts (Arroyo and Garrity) and probably Redick for a PG or a PF. I don't think Dooling will be traded b/c of his defense and his intensity. but then Arroyo brings a lot of people to the arena. Otis has to make a desicion soon!  (Jan 13, 2008 | post #7)

Free throws woes hurt Magic in loss to Jazz

Wow Roberto you got me for ignorant, but you did not understand a word I said! I can write in Spanish if you'd like. I said that my best friend happens to be from PR. I went to PR in September of 07. I have nothing against most PRcans, but some of the one that write in this forum get too sensitive when it comes to Arroyo! You can talk about me all you want since I can care less. You might talk about drugs, or kidnapping or our beautiful women. I know where I come from and would respect your opinion. Ohhh and just b/c I said what I said does not mean I don't like PRicans. It's just frustrating for me and many people that if the forum is about " Garrity" it will end up being about Nelson and Arroyo.  (Jan 13, 2008 | post #75)

We do play basketball, but we suck at it and I admit it! I don't have a problem with that and I will not argue my entire life b/c of that! We still watch the NBA  (Jan 13, 2008 | post #51)

Don't get me wrong Luis, I like puertoricans and my best friend happens to be one, but you guys complaint way to much about Arroyo. If he plays 20 min..."it's not enough" if he plays 40 minutes " he played too many min and that's why he could not perform" it's the same comments over and over. I hope Nelson gets traded too for a better PG  (Jan 13, 2008 | post #50)

Magic make another lineup change

Is Lewis a ghost for the Magic? Help me out here b/c I only saw Lewis playing in Seattle about 2 times and I never paid much attention to him. This guy disappears in the game for a long period of time, can't rebound, can't dribble, can't play defense, can't create turnovers, can't create enough free throws and 1 out of five games decides to play posting up. Lewis also can't take over the game when Howard and Hedo are having bad nights or are sitting at the bench. He can shoot the 3 and open up the floor b/c of it! He said the other day that we have not seen him at his best...I guess we have him seen it at his worst either...this guy is just an average player! In this league there are 5 type of players to me. The ones that suck ( Garrity ) The ones that do the dirty work and don't get much recognition (Battie , Bowen, Bell or Battier ) The ones that are average ( Nelson, Arroyo, Bogans etc ) The ones that are above average, but not superstars ( Lewis, Hedo, Redd) and the ones that are superstars and can take over the game at any moment ( Kobe, James, Wade ) When is this guy going to "wake up" and play some real ball. We lost today because we're not hungry. They out hustle us tonight.  (Jan 4, 2008 | post #40)

Hedo hits big shot; Magic beat Bulls

Hedo hits big shot; Magic beat Bulls

That's my point...Nelson was driving to the basket! We have the best center in the NBA and he will be double-team his entire career...this means that our G's and F's can easily drive to the basket for an easy shoot. Look at Gordon through the entire game, everything was going in for him, but jump shoots are not as high percentage as when you drive to the basket. Don't get me wrong because I'm not hating on Arroyo. He has been playing his best basketball he joined the magic, but Nelson played great defense yesterday and that's the reason why he played the final minutes. Did you forget the game against Miami that Arroyo was playing good D and played the final minutes??? Let's not have short term memory please.  (Jan 1, 2008 | post #87)

Hedo hits big shot; Magic beat Bulls

It looks like you didn't watch the game...maybe you only saw the stats at the end of the game. Arroyo was perfect from the line, but he was not driving to the baskets or getting easy shoots for their teammates. Nelson on the other hand was driving to the basket and played probably his best defensive game ever! He stayed in the game becuase of his defense.  (Jan 1, 2008 | post #69)

Hedo hits big shot; Magic beat Bulls

He was not injured. He just didn't play in the 4th or the ot because Nelson had the hot hand. I hope this will stop all arguments about who is our starting PG. It is not about who starts....it's about who finishes and at the end of the day SVG makes the decision on who has the hot hand between the 2. I thought Hedo was going to give the game away with a couple of careless turnover at the end of regulation and ot, but he came up big with Wallace on his face. D-12 was a monster like he has been. He should not only be nominated for MVP, but also for the defensive player of the year. He may not win, but he should at least be mention there....he played awesome defense today!  (Dec 31, 2007 | post #8)

Magic win third straight

Totally agree. If you did not him, there is no way you could tell that he is an announcer for the magic. I really like both of them. Very well informed.  (Dec 30, 2007 | post #48)
