Mayor, Public Safety Unions At Odds Over Budget Cuts

Everyone is acting like police officers are sacred and shouldn't be subjected to feeling the effects of the recession. Also I know that these police officers have families but so do thousands of other people in tulsa who have been laid off from their job in other industries. What makes police officers families any more special? I believe that the layoffs should be implemented and that salary cuts should be done.  (Dec 31, 2009 | post #50)

Public Input Sought To Improve Oklahoma Education

Between work, commute, cooking dinner, and chores I don't even have time to hold a remote. As a single mother I do rely on the teachers to educate my child because that is what they are there for. It would be different if I were a stay at home mom.  (Dec 11, 2009 | post #19)

Tulsa Murder Victim's Family: "This Judge Is A Murderer L...

A judge is not supposed to sentence based off of his own emotion. He is supposed to go off facts and evidence. If he were to give sentences based off his life experiences then he would not be an unbiased judge. He was right by going off what he knew and saw instead of being pressured by the public. He is not in it for a popularity contest.  (Dec 4, 2009 | post #153)
