White Women's Skin May Show Wrinkles Sooner

So for the new study, published in the journal Fertility and Sterility, researchers assessed facial wrinkles and skin elasticity in 106 women in their 50s who had gone through menopause within the past few years. The group included 65 white women and 21 African Americans. Wrinkle scores -- bestowed by a dermatologist using a standard visual scoring system -- were higher among white women, whose average score was nearly double that of black women. In general, however, the women had only mild wrinkling. see the original article here: http://www.reuters .com/article/2010/ 11/10/us-skin-wrin kles-idUSTRE6A941S 20101110  (Jul 3, 2013 | post #93)

Fat Transfer to reduce dark eye circles

Many people (of all ages ) have a deep hollow under their eyes and this contributes to a tired appearance. The finer liners occur when you smile- these are 'normal' but bother some people- they are harder to correct long term- a good remedy is botulinum toxin. The filling of the hollows can be done with a temporary filler like Restylane and a permanent filler - micro fat grafting. These are very safe procedures and give excellent and reproducible results.  (May 7, 2013 | post #13)

Following might be help for you - - Grate raw potato, squeeze the juice and apply the juice under your eyes for 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can also place thin slices of potato on your eyes (with them closed) every night before you retire. This is one of the most popular and time-tested home remedies for dark circles. - Include a lot of green leafy veggies in your diet. Also include food rich in Vitamin A and E. - Indulge in some kind of exercise like walking, jogging. Yoga, especially pranayama is known to improve skin health. - Take two thin slices of cucumber and place them on your eyes. This removes the puffiness and cools the eyes - Dip cotton in rose water and place them on your eyes. - Reduce salt intake in your food.
