Teen hit by lightning during storms

Lightning has seemed to change around here. Getting more like Florida, a dark or almost dark cloud comes along, you might hear just a little thunder, nothing remarkable and zap, it's right above you and hits a nearby tree, with not much warning. Anyone agree?  (Jul 28, 2010 | post #1)

Both sides on gay marriage to rally at Minnesota Capitol

Was this guy kidding? Somethings tells me he was and off these teenagers go. Having been a first responder myself, that's all I'm gonna say.  (Jul 28, 2010 | post #1)

Wirth Park is worthless pit, and it's been that way for many, many years. It's fine with me if they take all these gang bangers and put them all in front of firing squad. Quit wasting prosecution money on these losers.  (Jul 27, 2010 | post #10)

Wisconsin court disbars attorney, orders restitution

They ought to disbar half of these attorneys and take half of the judges off the bench. Scratch my back and I'll scratch yours is the motto, discontinue, reschedule, another motion, and yet another, phone conferences, hearings, come back with more law. Half the judges cannot recite more than a handful of cases from case law and they don't read the case beforehand and are woefully unprepared as are the attorneys.  (Jul 27, 2010 | post #1)

Minnesota attorney general reiterates Asian carp threat

I couldn't agree with you more. They have had multiple chances to eliminate the Asian Carp starting over three years ago or more when they were downstream. On the news last night they presented a piece where a fisherman caught one of the carps in a net as it was soaring through the air, the camera got a good shot of it and amazingly, appallingly, unbelievably, incredibly, stupidly, let back in the water. I almost threw my television set in the swamp. This is political bile.  (Jul 27, 2010 | post #2)

La Crosse man among victims of crash near Iowa City

In rollovers anyone not belted in will fly out of the vehicle and usually the vehicle rolls on the person. But you are right, some crashes are so bad no one has a chance. Rest in peace.  (Jul 26, 2010 | post #2)

Does Minnesota need all those back MRIs?

The reason you need an MRI on the back is many. You could have a slipped disc, do not exercise, you could have a herniated disc, do not exercise, you could have a blown disc, exercise is dangerous then, you could have a cracked or broken vertebrae, it could be muscular. So to lump everyone in one category is absurd. And for physicians to willy nilly cast about suggestions to take care of pain without using the proper and many diagnostic tools given, they ought not to be practicing medicine.  (Jul 25, 2010 | post #36)
