really?? crackers don't know about getting looks from other races? try walking some white ass thru a black or hispanic community, and getting a cross "look" is the LEAST of your worries. sure..there was a time when the white man had the "evil" in them, but to say that the white man is the only evil anymore is just a load of b.s.. i lived in a predominately black neighborhood when i lived up north, and let me tell you...just walking to the local store got me more than a few unfriendly looks, comments and confrontations. lets stop laying the "race" card out there...shall we? we ALL are guilty of racism, no matter what color you are. besides...are crackers really as racist as all the other colors claim?..seems to me our new president would not have gotten where he is without the cracker vote....i believe that shows the whites have knocked their own racism down a few notches for that to have happened. so now ask yourself.....when do all the racist named black orginazations (bet, naacp, ms black america pagent, and a whole myriad of others, finally drop THEIR racist namesakes? i have always followed my grandfathers advice when dealing with other people "if they are an idiot, it matters not what color they are....an idiot is an idiot...no matter what color they may be" and on the flipside...." if the person you are dealing with has a great idea, or a better way to do something, take the color blinders off, and listen to the better idea" i hate to quote a moron, but he actually said something that most people ignored....rodney king..."can't we all just get along?" honestly...is it that bad that we can't get past this color thing, finally see that we are not each others enemy, put our heads together and see that the govt. is using racism to keep us blind with hatred, so we don't notice the crap they pull on us while we are fighting amongst ourselves? i look forward to any INTELLIGENT response, from any race, color, creed. chuck (Monday Dec 7 | post #8)
seems to me if they would put this much effort into catching murders, rapists, and child molesters, people could relax, knowing their streets are finally safe...and perhaps calm down enough to slow down. they spend more money prosecuting minor things and letting the "big fish" thrive. i wish they would use all that big money on catching real bad people, and less on technology that allows them to sit on their asses so much. they got the nickname "gumshoe " for a reason...they got gum on their shoe....walking and WORKING a beat, not sitting on the ass waiting to catch those "horrid" misdemeanors. they prob belong to the city in an effort to "raise some revenue" thru sending people tickets for speeding and red light runners, that way their officers can continue to relax at duncan doughnuts, knowing they don't have to patrol the streets and actually DO their job. these cameras are an invasion of our privacy....a cops job is to catch you in the act, not look at a "tape" and mail tickets out (Monday Dec 7 | post #3)
