It is not the breed pitbull that is the problem it is the people who raise and and the fact WE (people) bred the tendency to attack into them, because WE (people) used them as guard dogs, attack dogs, and for fighting. 7 Year-Old Discovers Racist Couch

First of all it is a couch, it does not live breathe, or think so the couch cannot be racist. This is a simple typo, it it had been any other word or any other typo no one would care. Secondly suing is stupid. There was no malcious intent in this typo or even the color name. The company had apologized and explained the error. It it is kind of like a child trying to tell a dog sit and they say shi* you do not punish them it was an accident. Third, if this was so offensive to the woman why is she doing interviews and taking pictures with the tag saying it? She is just perpetuing the spreading the use of the word in discussing the matter. Fourth, the word in question, as I personally do not use the word at all, no matter the context, IS used so often by that community that instead of going after someone out side the race that uses it accidentally, why not go within the race and correct the people who use it in derogetory ways. Now I am not saying that no one uses that word in a derrogetory manner, however clearly this instance it is not in a derrogetory manner. ********I am sorry for my poor spelling********  (May 29, 2009 | post #453)
