2009 Raiders Turnaround Year?

2009 could be the year the Raiders could have a turnaround year. JaMarcus, now in his 3rd year may have a breakout year loaded with wideouts. With all receivers healthy and Zack Miller being a solid TE, this could be the year. There are high expectations for Mcfadden, Fargus and Bush to boost the running game giving JaMarcus a diversified ways to get in the end zone. Adding Greg Ellis a great edition to the weak defense against the run maybe what the Raiders needed. With the talent in place now comes the determination to win. It is up to Tom Cable to get the Raiders back on there feet and prepared for a Super Bowl plan. Taking one game at a time and having the right game plan and coaching staff, maybe the Raiders get out of there 6 year slump. Diminishing returns for foes of Raiders' Asomugha

Nnamdi Asomugha is the best corner back in the NFL hands down. Besides former Raider Charles Woodsen, Asomugha is the best cover corner in the NFL. With the release of DeAngelo Hall was a very good move on the Raiders part. If Chris Johnson continues to stick his receiver like he did against the Broncos they could have one of the best passing defense in the NFL. Although, Michael Huff needs massive improvements to keep up with the Raider high powered defense, he can make the difference. This remains to be seen in the next following games. Finally the Raiders take on the Broncos and get an exciting win over Denver. Corner Back Chris Johnson replaces Pro Bowler DeAngelo Hall and gives the Raiders an edge. With his presence playing close there were no chances for the Broncos receivers to catch any balls. Jamarcuss Russel goes for 10/11 and having the best game of his career yet. Even with a 3 and 8 record, the Raiders still have a chance to birth a playoff game. Now with Darren Mcfadden healthy and a strong running game, the Raiders are strong contender.
