Hey guy's, ever hear of calling a girl after sex?

seems you have several problems... The biggest one I see however is likely WHERE you are looking for relationships. My guess is that you are looking in clubs, bars, and other usual "hot spots". This is NOT where you find serious relationship material. This is where you go to get laid... sometimes it works into something more but people go to those places to relieve stress, hookup with someone for a short time, or generally forget about life. If you want to meet someone, that special someone, start looking elsewhere. Where to start? The best idea I can give you is find something you truly enjoy... pickup a hobby, go to places you enjoy, go on the internet if you have to and look for clubs you can join that do specific things you would like to try or know you enjoy doing. If you like bird watching for example, go online and find local bird watching clubs and keep your eye out for unattached men who seem like you can connect with. You start off with something in common already. Also try making female friends... women you like may have siblings or friends that you will like more and those are more likely to stick around since you know their friend/sibling/wha tever. With these guys you want to avoid sex for several dates. If you REALLY need sex you can do what you've been doing on the side. Theres nothing wrong with that at the initial opening of the relationship. Once you go exclusive with someone though you'll have to stop to avoid losing him. Oh, and you may want to get tested for STDs. Can never be too cautious.  (Nov 3, 2009 | post #149)

To Everyone Calling Obama a Socialist...

Sorry to say, but I have been helped numerous times by the department of social services... I'd prolly be dead right now without that help. It is meant to be a hand up however not a hand-out... Yes some people abuse the system, and live comfortable life styles doing absolutely nothing. But still, it is the responsibility of the community to help those in need of their support. I support policies that force those too lazy, mean spirited, and/or otherwise unwilling to help their fellow man to help out. This should not be an overbearing portion of ones income, but it IS needful. Many people have nowhere else to turn. ESPECIALLY those who are not drug abusers. Many were the times when I would have been better off as a recovering drug addict than I was as myself...  (Oct 31, 2008 | post #16)

Post how much value your 401k lost today

It's not just the fact that the stock market is dropping in free fall right now, but the value of the dollar is disgustingly low right now as well. Canadian money had actually surpassed us at some point. The dollar rebounded... SLIGHTLY... but it's still almost equal value whereas 8 years ago it was 75 cents to the dollar. Take the actual value of the stock market, and compare it to the actual value of the stock market fro before Mr Bush took office, you'll see the REAL losses we've suffered under our esteemed president. We've lost about 20% of our nations value. This cannot end well...  (Oct 6, 2008 | post #22)

Sarah Palin is as Dumb as...

maybe they're drunken 12 year olds? but seriously, those thinking McCain can win, they're delusional. If by some miracle he does win however, I seriously doubt that the US will be in existance for much longer.  (Oct 2, 2008 | post #61)

retired utica police investigator edward lonczak

I know you're not likely to read this, but it needs to be said anyways. People will say what they wish on these boards, some will be talking out of their ass, some will be lashing out, some will be considerate... but what it boils down to, is that it really doesn't matter WHAT we say here. He worked and tried to make your reality whatever it is today. Did he do well? Did he help you to succeed? If so, then good, if not then not so good... You are the only one who can judge what he meant to you. Good, bad, indifferent... whatever it is it has helped you to become what you are. Treasure it, the good and the bad for it's a part of you and always will be.  (Sep 29, 2008 | post #67)

the new dunkin on cavanuagh rd

Muffins + Bagels > Donuts. Sure Dunkin has bagels, but a good bagel place sells bagels that are 10 times better and not really much of a price increase.  (Sep 29, 2008 | post #32)

Boy, 14, charged with murder, sexual assault of S.C. girl, 8

Always the video games. Everyone is always so quick to blame everything on media. Let's see... Hmmm, when did all this violence start? maybe it was GTA? NOPE, duke nukem had massive bad publicity long before it. So maybe it's duke nukem's fault? Nope, because people were blaming TV before that. So it must be TV then! Nope, because before that you had books, plays, radio... Go to the library and pick up some Shakespeare, or the works of Homer Vargas, or the story of Robin Hood. Ever see the original story of Rumplestilzkin? Guy gets ripped in half. Or what about Beowolf? Or the Greek plays? Maybe we should blame the internet too... Let's take away all books, video games, TV, and any other media while we're at it... oh no wait, our history was violence even before the advent of the written word... Give it a rest. These things have always happened, and always will. Blaming other things for the disgustingness of humanity is simply retarded.  (Sep 23, 2008 | post #81)

Coroner: Child Accidentally Smothered by Adult

Dont let them sleep next to you on the couch, have them sleep ON you.Since it's a couch you won't move around much, so you won't roll over and smother them, and besides it's cute.  (Sep 23, 2008 | post #64)

New York State Troopers

let's see... I've been arrested for: Eating a salad in a public park. (cop came up to me and demanded my ID and wanted to know where I lived, I refused said he couldnt just walk up to people doing nothing and search them, he arrested me.) Excersizing free speech. (I swore at a teacher in an email.) Trespassing... at my own apartment... they also treat people like dirt once they have been arrested, not allowing phone calls when you're supposed to be allowed a phone call by law, insulting people, and god forbid you try a peaceful protest. And if a cop simply doesn't like you, they'll harass you for nothing, making things up. A friend of mine got pulled over on a moped, and the cops told him it was a motorcycle and he had to have a license... they made him walk the thing home for 3 miles. The cop was of course wrong and knew it, but he wanted to give the kid a hard time. The guy also kept the kids ID and didn't return it. Not to mention all of the things that somehow "disappear " from evidence.  (Sep 23, 2008 | post #55)

Wow

Is it just me or is this forum dripping with crime threads more than most threads? Is Anderson really this dull that the only things people from this area care about is who did what to who? No posts on the baloon festival except about the guy that crashed? noone saying they enjoyed it? Where are the posts about the local schools, or the posts about local politicians, or the posts about life in general? Does someone have to die in this area for anyone to notice?  (Sep 23, 2008 | post #1)

New York State Troopers

Most of my dealigs have been with city and county police. The only time I dealt with NY troopers, I'll openly admit they were decent human beings. City and County though, they tend to be more often on the "dumb as a rock, mean as a pit bull" side of things. State police have to have higher standards, just as feds have even higher standards. My experiece with local police though has been universally negative.  (Sep 23, 2008 | post #52)
