What ever happened to Morris School?
It was Br. Blaise who would "peek" under our covers at night, ostensibly to check for walkmans but I always wondered. It was also Blaise who apparently walked into our fishing line trap. Br. Simon was the cafeteria supervisor amongst other duties. He smacked me with a broom one time. I kind of deserved it! (Friday Nov 20 | post #8)
Kansas NAACP Demands Apology for 'RedNeck Rap' - WDAF
Yes yes yes he must be a bigoted racist because after all he is white. Yep this is the ONE rap that is harmful to society. Do you folks on the left ever really listen to yourselves? Your world is so full of imaginary boogy men that you all too often ignore, for years and years, those things and people that really mean and do harm. None so blind as those who refuse to see....... What ever happened to Morris School?
Wow that sounds weird. I will say that one time when I was a student there we were hiking in the woods across the road and on towards town. we came across what I could only describe as an altar and a bunch of tree stumps circled around it. The altar was made of wood and had some kind of tarry gooey substance all over it. So we tied a bunch of fishing line around trees, like some sort of booby trap. (we were in 7th grade) I swear like a week later one of the Brothers showed up in class with lines across his face as if he ran into our "trap". This was the same Brother I caught peeking at us under our covers at night so I reallllly dont want to know what he was up to but whatever it was it involved many people according to how many stumps were out there. Plus the school is definitely haunted. So much so that at one point they had an exorcism in one the Brothers' room in the seminary. CREEPY! (Oct 23, 2009 | post #5)

What ever happened to Morris School?
Hey all just was curious if anyone knew whatever became of Morris School for Boys? I attended in the late 80's-early 90's. I have never forgotten the kindness and generosity of the people of Searcy. Coming from rural Kansas I felt right at home, thanks in no small part to the abundance of fishing and hunting and the fact that people there have a common sense and conviviality that reminded me of the people I grew up with. You all are so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of our country. Go Razorbacks! (Oct 13, 2009 | post #1)
Review: Advanced Chiropractic Svc - Chris L Wertin DC
Mrs. Julie, I would recommend the following clinic in Orem, UT-----http://www. aznarchiropractic. com/. Dr. Aznar uses the same tool/ technique as Dr. Chris. I am also an activator doc and have heard very good things about Dr. Aznar! Good luck and great health! (Sep 10, 2009 | post #4)

Review: Advanced Chiropractic Svc - Chris L Wertin DC
He is my uncle and yes he is very, very good. Matter of fact, there are a ton of Wertins who are chiropractors and they all do an amazing job! Do yourself a favor and get set up with Dr. Chris in Lawrence or Dr. John in Topeka! (Intersection of Huntoon and Lane!) (Jun 30, 2009 | post #2)
Terribly experience with Topeka Animal Shelter
Kayla, thats funny you should mention this. My girlfriend was volunteering there recently and she commented to me one day about those same rats and she was of the same thinking that you are. It was incredibly hot in there and yes, they did provide ice for the dogs but she was told to leave the rats alone. She almost wanted to adopt them but we just couldnt. Sorry to hear about the untimely demise of one of them. I also agree with you sign guy. (Jun 25, 2009 | post #3)

Who's the luckiest guy in cyberspace? That's right, this guy!
The person that this post is about will know it! I am not from Ulysses, but have spent a little time there. Love the town and the people! I wanted to let someone from Ulysses know how very special she has become to me. I have fallen madly in love with her and just felt you all should know! I have never known such a loyal, sweet, honest person. She is the reason I wake everyday and the last thing my lips touch as I surrender to sleep each night. Just for you baby, the light of my life!
