McCain hopes to attract young voters

Sorry but I don't infer anything, my statement means exactly what it says. That support is going to be an albotros around his neck. BTW, I said I try to look through their eyes, not that I can do it.  (8 hrs ago | post #72)

You are making the links, I am only stateing facts. When I analyze an enemy I try to look at things from his point of view, not mine, you can make a better assessment that way. When you try to find out why Hamas likes obama you can't look at the issue through democratic eyes, you have to look at it through Hamas eyes.  (10 hrs ago | post #64)

Calif. Supreme Court overturns gay-marriage ban

Unlike Mas. the court didn't dictate to the legislature what laws had to be passed and ordered the gov to sign them. There is no statues to allow this, they will have to be written, it will be about Jan 09 befor that gets done, Churches outside of frisco won't to homosexual nuptuals, it will have to be in the courthouses  (Thursday | post #91)

Calif. Supreme Court overturns gay-marriage ban

setting standards for society is not discrimination,11 other states have already done just that. But if you feel that way, it would take the US Supreme Court to over turn it.  (Thursday | post #72)

BRAC impact massive: Beaumont hospital may be rebuilt

I think that the biggest culture shock for this town is that the majority of these soldier and families don't speak spanish, spouses are going to be looking for work and find that they are being turned down because they don't speak a foreign language.  (Thursday | post #41)

Yes they are doing things, however, the desal plant was planned before BRAC, the school districts only plan 5 years out when building a new school, hense all the portibles, the builders did the ordinances to favor themselves, and they don't build many houses without someone to move right in after its built. 50-60 thousand increase in population over a 2 or 3 year period is not healthy groth for any community, there are going to be huge growing pains any way you slice it  (Thursday | post #39)

Vehicle registration offenses frustrate some

Equal justice under the law is a constitutional matter, not a racial matter, la raza is a dishonest, race-baiting organization, playing on the emotions of people and their aversion of the lable "raceist ". The only thing that they are doing is dilluting the impact of the word.  (Thursday | post #33)

Hamas isn't going to help obama get elected, more likely hurt his chances. If you notice I don't say obama has ties to them, agree with them, or even sympathize with them one little bit. But, with that said HAMAS sees something in him that they like, whether it be his middle name, his muslim father, or his cut-&-run policy reguarding the war on terrorism. The fact that a terrorist organization likes a US Presidential candidate, should make everyone wonder about that.  (Thursday | post #59)

BRAC impact massive: Beaumont hospital may be rebuilt

The boom will most likely com in the long term, while Fort Bliss is prepairing for the arival of the soldiers, El Paso isn't doing much. There are several posts of the impact of so many soldiers and family members so quickly, and for the most part I share their sentament, there will be a great deal of growing pains here in El Paso. If you remember what things were like when the Cav was here, things will most likely be similar, Dyer street was not a place to be after dark, prostitution, bars strip clubs and other similar businesses.  (Thursday | post #31)

Yes Clinton left them alone, and where did it get us, 93 twin towers attack, USS Cole attack, Kohbar Towers attack, 2 embasies attack, 9-11 attack, and what happened when we went on the attack... no more attack on US soil, coinsidence? I think not.  (Wednesday May 14 | post #56)
