Mexico

Mexicans, the most ignorant and brainless people of all.

Actually the beer companies were the one's who made 5 De mayo popular here in the states. Ask any Mexican if they care other than to party, get drunk, and avoid DUIs We it comes to El Grito on Sept 16 it's all quiet here.  (Wednesday Sep 3 | post #5374)

Hmm.. All that land belonged to mexico... and who did it belong to before? I see you whine but are very selective with your history to suit yourself. Also remember why the US celebrates the 4th of July and why mexico celebrates the 16th of September... independence from who after they took over a new land. BTW, most idiot mexicanos here in the US celebrate 5 De mayo more than they do the 16th of September Watch "Bill Whittle on Whose Is It?" on YouTube Bill Whittle on Whose Is It?: http://youtu.be/xv 7pu_YZCrg  (Wednesday Sep 3 | post #5372)

Hmm... viva mexico? 3 and 4 sounds like the Spanish who invaded mexico. They forced mexico their language, religion, raped and made slaves of the indigenous people, stole their land and gold. And guess what, the majority of mexicans carry the filthy invaders' last name.  (Wednesday Sep 3 | post #5371)

Are the Brown Berets and La Raza movment racist?

1st off, I'm not Don J... I'm just replying to your post Chicano? Go to Mexico and tell a Mexican you're Chicano, they are going to laugh in your face and call you Pocho. My social movement doesn't need "La Raza" telling me I'm a Chicano or that I need to be something I'm not. Not this is just me, all the chicanos I've met were usually some cholo burn outs. I'm pretty sure they are out there but I've yet to meet a professional who identifies as a chicano. Those who come close look like some old pachuco My social movement is my family... a proud, non racist, loves our culture and traditions famiky. We have never felt the need to promote our Raza, people know who we are and that's it. Just don't ruin it for us  (Jun 5, 2014 | post #121)

Drug dealer, gang member, welfare recipient, McDonald's worker, pregnant teen, high school drop out... These are things people think of when they hear Mexican. I'm not being an A-hole or a racists, I'm just speaking the truth. You may not like to hear it. These stereotypes and rooted with some truths.  (Jun 5, 2014 | post #5003)

Protest against police in Salinas turns violent

Article states: "Protesters were rallying against the three fatal officer-involved shootings in Salinas this year..." I wonder why people in Salinas protest all the gang violence like they are so readily to do with the cops. The article goes on to say that protesters think police shootings are racially motivated... race card? What do you expect when most of the crime in Salinas is cause by Hispanics. Remember, don't put yourself in a situation where you can get shot by police.  (May 22, 2014 | post #1)

Interesting... I've always wondered why young Hispanics here California glorify Aztec culture but never really learn or care to learn their history or even that of Mexico's. They are quick to put on a Aztec calendar T-shirt, but know nothing about it, to them it's just cool. Kinda like some white folks that get dream catcher tattoos.  (May 18, 2014 | post #4984)

Aren't you behind a screen yourself? BMW are going to tell the all the Mexicans with Spanish last name to go back to Spain? You know those dirty Spanish raped and force Catholicism on the Beloved Aztecs. Kinda like the white folks did onto the native Americans  (May 15, 2014 | post #4977)

And yes all those celebrations fall in the same box. But Who is saying you can't celebrate these days? Just stating that it's not the norm (or strange) for a Mexican girl to wave an Irish flag with the same meaning that the Mexican girl waving a Mexican flag. And BTW, I am Mexican... makes no difference though just like your statement that you're not.  (May 15, 2014 | post #4976)

Yes I know, but why would she be waving an Irish flag? Not saying she can't, but just sounds weird.... like saying an Irish dude waving a Mexican flag on Cinco De Mayo.  (May 15, 2014 | post #4972)
