Sambee, This point that BF makes is valid. The O.T. cannot be considered as a reliable source of history. It is, at best, the writings of Hebrew folklore, handed down from generation to generation by word of mouth within the tribe of Levi, which served religious duties for the Israelites. It is all about respect... and although I can't speak for BF I do know that it is frustrating to carry on a discussion when facts aren't used to support opinions. eg One thing you admire CB for, is the fact he can support each of his theological opinions with scripture.
