Hines Boyd a complete idiot

It's great to see someone in government communicate so candidly with the public. The more I research Tallahassee the more I like it. I wish all of government in America was as open. Hats off.  (Jun 29, 2014 | post #3)

It is a shame that a few losers can wreak so much destruction on these historically significant buildings. I will have no pity for them when they get caught and put away for life for all those counts of arson.  (Mar 24, 2013 | post #2)

FBI dogs joining search for Iowa cousins, 8 and 10

My theory is they got in a boat. How else can you explain the dogs dead ending at the shore? They needed to take the dogs around the entire lake. I hope they still can get the scent  (Jul 20, 2012 | post #9)

Witness says he saw missing Iowa girls after their disapp...

They probably got in a boat. I would check the few local sex predators in the area who fish there to rule them out. They should have taken the dogs ALL the way around that lake and sooner than they did.  (Jul 20, 2012 | post #57)

Handgun Availability

Its a shame that Norway's strict gun laws kept the guns out of the hands of all those slaughtered innocents. If only ONE of them had been able to fire back at that lunitic then many lives would have been saved.  (Jul 23, 2011 | post #5)

Justice was done. The state never even proved that there was even a murder committed.  (Jul 5, 2011 | post #4307)

Great post Grandma :-) The scary thing is that the Frankenstein townsfolk mentality that Nancy Grace and others unleashed had the potential to begin a serious erosion of one of the most fundamental of American rights. That is the right of presumed innocence until guilt is actually PROVEN in a court of law. Without this right being paramount the police in our society would have sweeping power similar to the "Brownshirts " during the early rise of the Nazi's in Germany. In this case the failure of the state to investigate to the point where the few people around this case could be effectively ruled out was the source of "doubt" remaining in the case. They should have taken the cadaver dogs to ALL of the places Caylee may have been and to Kronks car and house as well. I believe that they charged Casey with such a lack of evidence hoping that she would "crack" and beg for a plea deal as so many seem to do in that county. This investigation was one of the worst I have ever seen. To not search the CLOSEST woods to the Anthony home with dogs and have video of that search is inexcusable. With such a great procecution team in Orange County there would be a near 100% conviction rate if the DA and police actually gathered evidence with a THOUROUGH investigation prior to filing charges. This case certainly left me with doubt as to Casey's guilt in a murder and indeed doubt as to whether a murder was committed at all.  (Jul 5, 2011 | post #4279)

Jury of Casey Anthony Job well done!

My faith in the American justice system is restored. Perhaps this case will bring some in law enforcement and prosecution out of Lala land and into reality. If Orange County had spent half the resources in the investigation of this case to obtain actual evidence as they had in the prosecution of it then justice would have been more apparant. The prosecutors were top notch but there was simply NO evidence suggesting that there was even a murder. They should fire the Orange County DA for even allowing this to move forward and use the savings in hiring a less expensive successor to buy some more cadaver dogs and actually USE them next time. This was a tunnel visioned, emotionally driven, shoddy investigation to say the least. I hope that Orange County learns something from this experience.  (Jul 5, 2011 | post #5)

Baiez is systematically damaging Casey's case in his examination of George in the last two days. I no longer believe that George could be involved in the disposal of Caylee's body. Baiez brought up that George said to police that the method Caylee was buried was "like he used to bury pets". If George had been involved there is no way he would have ever said that to police. I am now thinking that the jury will find manslaughter at the very least. With the doubt regarding George out of the equation as to involvement in the disposal, Casey's chronic lies regarding this sad event will hold more weight in her perceived guilt.  (Jun 30, 2011 | post #4204)

Thuggery has nothing to do with color. If more people carried guns to defend themselves against these clowns doing the crimes then natural Darwinism would eventually weed out the thugs.  (Jun 21, 2011 | post #12)
