Abudtced Feasterville Woman's SUV Found in Philadelphia: ...

Memo to would be "kidnap" scam artists: being a white person claiming you were kidnapped by two golfers is the first tip off to the fuzz that your not on the up and up.  (May 27, 2009 | post #103)

Homicide charge expected in street fight death

Hopefully the cause of the fight will be investigated. Back in my day, you could give another fellow a sound thrashing without worrying about going to jail.  (May 27, 2009 | post #14)

BIRDS VANISHING IN THE LEHIGH VALLEY In a tailspin
"Peopl e can immediately make a difference for bird populations in their own backyard, said Koch, who converted her former farmland in Williams Township into bird habitat. ''If every person would give back a little of what they take, the whole habitat everywhere would be better, and the bird population would be better,'' she said."
I love the Morning Call. Heres a perfect opportunity for ways to do so article, and theres no followup. This paper sucks.  (Mar 29, 2009 | post #43)

Reputed mob boss may get out early for cooperation agains...

It saddens me to see the Federal Government go this far to persecute a simple garbagemen, Mr. DeNaples. Mr. D'Elia, an elderly auto mechanic, is clearly in poor health, with poor mental judgement, and in his weakened mental state will do anything to spend his final days with his lovely wife and family, not in a cold prison cell, and these prosecutors knew that. And forcing a Priest, and Man of God, to face charges as well? What is this world coming to?  (Nov 25, 2008 | post #23)

Phillies fans flock downtown to await title parade

Good one LOL. Now In have to redesign the teeshirt. Another good point was made. I bet half the parents that were there were lit, and 95% of them have used the F bomb in frront of their children. Most parents are scary soccer mom hyprocrites anyway. I still think Chase would have been better off not saying it, with kiddies there, but like I said, it did not ruin the day for me.  (Oct 31, 2008 | post #24)

Phillies fans flock downtown to await title parade

You know I agree he shouldnt have done that since the stadium was full of kids that look up to him, but it hardly put a "stain" on the day. And think of all the "World Effing Champions" tee-shirts that are going to be selling next week. I agree, I didn't go to the parade for many of the reasons already mentioned, its just too hard to get down there unless you work in Philly and have a reserved parking space, and I would have been disappointed to see them wearing street clothes, not even tee-shirts. I heard one caller say it was hard to tell which players were which. As for SEPTA, look, you have to give them a pass. There's only so many trains to go around, I mean this is the first time in 25 years this has happened in Philadelphia. They made it clear, get there EARLY. Let's just hope the Phils (or the Eagles, Flyers, or Sixers) bring us another parade, and SEPTA will do a little better next time. But overall, come on now, it was a special day if you are a Philadelphia sports fan, even if you had to watvh it on TV. Stop whining, THE PHILLIES WON THE WORLD SERIES!!!! ENJOY IT!  (Oct 31, 2008 | post #17)

Phillies parade: How to get there

For years I have been vowing to go to the parade when a Philly teams wins a title, but the more I think about it. what a friggin hassle. Maybe they'll do a ceremony for the Phils at Coca Cola Park next year and that will be my "parade"  (Oct 30, 2008 | post #2)

Man who fired gun during truck break-in is charged

This is an outrage. This man should not be charged, he should be given a medal. You bleeding hearts that are crying about the victim firing his gun in the air are a disgrace, and should be thrown right in jail with the criminals. Where is your sense of right and wrong???? My only regret is that his gun was not pointing AT one of these two hoodlums when he pulled the trigger.  (Sep 15, 2008 | post #36)

Last call for lighting up

I for one cannot WAIT for all of you cancer stick smokers to be forced to walk outside, like little children, to smoke your fetid cigarettes. For 20 years I have had to deal with people blowing smoke in my face; waiting longer for a table becaise I requested one in the no-smoking section; listening to that annoying tapping noise jerks make before they open their cigarette packs; and inhaling your cancerous fumes. On September 10 or 11 or whenever this law goes into effect, I cannot wait to pull up to a local restaurant, and as I am walking in, pointing at and mocking at all the idiots standing outside smoking their cancer sticks. And if any of you cigarette smokers have a problem with that, tell me where you will be and I will come up to you and laugh at you in your face. After all, with all the education that is out there about how awful smoking is, how can ANYONE under the age of 40 be stupid enough to start smoking????? Smoker=dumb  (Sep 1, 2008 | post #16)

McCain scraps convention script because of Gustav

I feel bad for the Republicans. They spent a lot of time, money and effort on this convention and now its going to be all screwed up because a few people whined that Bush didnt do enough during Katrina, so now they have to pretend that they actually care about all the trailer parks that might wash out to sea thanks to Gustav. Its a shame its only a little tropical storm; my desire would be for this tempest to wipe out that cesspool of a city and wipe New Orleans and all its thugs, hookers, weirdos and perverts off the map once and for all. Sadly, now the Republicans are going to lose the White House over a little thunderstorm. If the Democrats want to play fair, and show their compassion and support for Gustav evacuees, they would "spot" John McCain 20 electoral votes on Nov 2.  (Sep 1, 2008 | post #39)

Seniors want more at 'Pigs games

Grandpa, one slap from me and you'd go into vapor lock, dont come on here and threaten US. As for putting up roadblocks, that might be the best idea I have heard in a while. Almost every problem, from high housing, to crime, to obnoxious soccer moms trying to run people over with their carts at Wegmans, to idiots coming over here and whining about not getting their free squooshie ball at an IronPigs game can be traced back to two of the biggest stinkholes on the planet: NEW YORK and NEW JERSEY. I call upon Governor Rendell to have the State Police stop ANY cars with NJ or NY license plates that try and invade our state from either route 78 or 80. I bet our prisons would be overflowing in about 8 hours with crooks, pimps, crackheads and other assorted ne'er do wells.  (Sep 1, 2008 | post #12)
