Another China mass-murder of Children
If it's really an attack on the elitist landowners, then they should have the guts to attack those elitist landowners, not their helpless babies. That's just cowardly. (Sep 25, 2012 | post #26)

More Rumors Swirl on Status of China's Absent VP
Zhou Yongkang successfully developed (well, cultivated) a strong, anti-Beijing faction within the so-called "security " forces. This faction was so powerful, in fact, it was able to stage a near-coup, with security/paramilit ary duking it out with palace guards. Anyone who thinks this military faction will just accept Xi Jinping to replace Hu, is not looking at the whole picture. Who has the finger on the nukes? That's the main question; possibly, it is not Hu. (Sep 14, 2012 | post #7)

The most obvious sign of discord is that the dates for the congress have not been set. Most political experts here expected it to be held in mid-October, but without an official announcement, some are predicting it will be delayed. “We hear that the congress will be held in late October or early November,” a security official from southern China said. “Currently we’re planning for that.” One reason for the delay, the experts say, is what now appears to have been a contentious meeting in early August at the seaside resort of Beidaihe, China. According to the official script, this was to have been the final big meeting before the congress of leaders from the party’s various factions: the military, big state enterprises, descendants of revolutionary families, leaders of critical Communist Party organizations and others. The details of the congress were to be finalized at Beidaihe and the dates announced later in August. Instead, according to information that is slowly leaking out, the Beidaihe meeting and other sessions beforehand in Beijing were especially tense. “The atmosphere was very bad, and the struggles were very intense,” said a political analyst with connections to the party’s nerve center, the General Office. http://www.nytimes .com/2012/09/14/wo rld/asia/xi-jinpin gs-absence-puts-co mmunist-party-off- script.html?_r=0 &adxnnl=1& adxnnlx=1347639854 -nnSKeTw0U1v6JnXFQ CaCzA (Sep 14, 2012 | post #6)

Back problems happen when you are strung up in an interrogation room. They'll clean him up, show him briefly, and then *poof.* Or get a double, if he's already deceased. (Sep 14, 2012 | post #4)

LMAO the only reason the 5mao gang is perpetuating this thread is that, contrary to reality, they think the US freaks out about citizen opinion the way the CCP does. (Sep 13, 2012 | post #1407)

China VP's absence raises succession questions
Again, no comments? 1.4 billion people have no opinion on the man whose praises they were singing only days ago? It seems to me those praises must have been empty. Xi Jinping would be better off in Taiwan--at least people would care about him one way or the other there. (Sep 12, 2012 | post #1)
China maintains silence over vice-president Xi Jinping's ...
Not ONE comment? Out of 1.4 billion citizens, not one single Chinese citizen gives a damn whether Xi Jinping is dead or alive? I would disappear, too, if 1.4 billion of my countrymen showed me that kind of disrespect. (Sep 12, 2012 | post #1)
Should Xi Jinping Return, or Stay Gone?
NO Chinese people here have an opinion on whether or not the next President of China should return or stay disappeared forever??? No wonder he went away...not one person in 1.4 billion people gives a damn! Crazy. (Sep 12, 2012 | post #2)
