Orioles not planning to increase offer to Teixeira

Angelos will never sell the O's unless he dies. Cal and buddies need to pony up the cash and buy this team right away. They are close to being a laughingstock.  (Dec 11, 2008 | post #25)

Markakis contract extension talks suspended

The O's better not fool around with Markakis. He's one of the players we need to build around and deserves the money he's paid. Dont lowball him, cuz he will only want to leave, just like all the rest.  (Jul 21, 2008 | post #7)

Sunday slide continues for Orioles

It may be time to start getting rid of some valuable players while they still are valuable. I wouldnt give up Sherrill for peanuts but would hope to get some decent prospects for him.  (Jul 20, 2008 | post #12)

Orioles slide into All-Star break

DO NOT PLAY BYNUM AGAIN ! He cannot hit or play the field. Unbelievable he is so snakebit, there is no hope for him anymore this season. Routine grounders go through his legs and double clutching a throw...why wasnt Fahey playing ?  (Jul 13, 2008 | post #25)

O's flustered by Wakefield, Red Sox

This game got outta hand pretty early thanks to the three who couldnt catch a popup (Huff, Markakis and Roberts) but cant blame them entirely as Liz didnt help the cause by giving up lots o' runs. I guess it takes the youngster pitchers to be in these types of situations to make them stronger down the line...  (Jul 12, 2008 | post #7)

Ex-Yanks star, broadcaster Bobby Murcer dies at 62

I'm no Yankee fan but this transcends that. Murcer was a class act from the old Yankee teams and did not deserve to go through what he did the past few years. Baseball lost another one of the "good guys" today. God Bless Bobby Murcer and family.  (Jul 12, 2008 | post #1)

Orioles swept out of Toronto

I'm sure the Red Sox are drooling over the O's coming up for the weekend. Their pitching is in shambles and they are catching no breaks whatsoever and a few players (Hernandez and Mora) are killing them. A sweep could happen very easily as Boston is getting healthy just at the right time...  (Jul 10, 2008 | post #9)

Young O's pitching staff goes through growing pains

The way the O's are playing right now, they are gonna get swept by Boston, very easily.  (Jul 10, 2008 | post #1)

Longoria, Hart fans' All-Star choices

I still think Roberts and Huff should be in NY representing B'more next week. The Rays are the flavor of the month and we'll see how long they remain on top  (Jul 10, 2008 | post #3)

Eight isn't enough

I love the O's but it's so frustrating to see them fall on their faces, especially most recently. I guess it's plain to see the O's are not as good as we all thought they were. I knew they were overachieving but got used to them coming back and winning during that stretch of games. Now it's coming back to haunt us.  (Jul 10, 2008 | post #3)

Rays' success food for thought for MacPhail

The Rays should be winning for all the number one picks they've had the past few years. My thing is, what took them so long to turn the corner ? Many congrats to all the Rays fans (all 10 who show up to the game) who stuck it out while they were bad.  (Jul 7, 2008 | post #23)

Huff finds sweet spot

I like Huff. He's proven to be a valuable player for our club. I wish he garnered more All-Star attention as a DH since Ortiz will be missing the game due to injury but they will probably replace him with that nutjob Milton Bradley. I hope Huff stays here for years to come.  (Jul 7, 2008 | post #11)
