Carver, MA

Thinking of moving to the area..

Thanks go for it. No we are not leeches hehe.. My husband is disabled but he takes care of the house and our children's needs and activities. We have 3 smart and awesome GOOD kids who have been taught respect. I work for a small business marketing firm that has the flexibility I need to work from anywhere so I know that I could easily work with local businesses in Carver and travel to Boston for more clients as needed. I am more of a down to earth gal but I do like having access to the city for shopping and fun activities. Ironically the reason I looked at Carver is because I have a friend in New Jersey who's last name is Carver and apparently his family is the reason the city was named Carver. :P  (Jun 15, 2011 | post #3)

Carver, MA

Thinking of moving to the area..

I was considering moving to the Caver, MA area with my family. I would like to know what people living in Carver have to say about their town, is it a good family place? Is there much to do nearby? Is the weather nice? Are there many decent jobs in the area. I know you are near Boston, would you say its about an hours drive or so?  (Jun 7, 2011 | post #1)

Palm Harbor, FL

Possibly Moving to the Area - Whats Good? Whats Bad?

I am a Florida native who has been married and living in Tennessee for the last 15 years. We are considering moving back to Florida but we want to avoid areas with high crime or a lot of natural disasters (hurricanes dont bother me, I can see them coming) and from my research Palm Harbor is fairly quiet compared to most places. We are a family of five, my husband and I are in our young 30's and we have children ages 10, 5 and 3. Would you say Palm Harbor is a good place for a young family? Are there areas you would recommend or avoid? What are some of the fun things to do in the area? Any other thoughts or suggestions? :) Thanks!  (May 14, 2011 | post #1)
