Woman who killed tot gets jail

I agree fully with everything you said. This was not an 'accident' since accidents can't be prevented. And while it's not enough in my opinion, she did get more time than 4 1/2 months. She got sentenced to 10-15 months, but she was given credit for 4 1/2 months. Well, that's how I took it when I read the article. Personally, I think 10 years would have been much better. As another poster said, by the time she would get out, it would hopefully be too late for her to think of having another child.  (Aug 6, 2008 | post #11)

If parents are going to allow their kids to eat fast food more often than not, they should make them play and run around outside instead of sitting indoors playing their video games.  (Aug 5, 2008 | post #14)

Saucon settles suit involving track coach

Kolosky became "very intoxicated" and made sexual advances toward Meissner. Because of his drinking, Meissner offered to drive Kolosky home. He instead directed her to Dimmick Park, where he told her he loved her and "that they should make babies together." If he made 'sexual advances' at her while he was clearly intoxicated, why did she offer him a ride home? Why didn't she call him a cab?  (Jul 31, 2008 | post #13)

Bethlehem Fake Roofers Scam Woman Out Of $900

I can understand an 82 year old woman not really knowing any better, but the 56 year old? Where was she while these men were going through her house? Just lounging on the couch? It really doesn't make sense to me. First of all, why would you let a stranger into your home and second of all, if you're going to do something so stupid, why wouldn't you at least follow them around the house and keep an eye on them?  (Jul 22, 2008 | post #12)

Batman star questioned by police

I agree. This is what I saw on another article: "Bale, 34, allegedly lashed out at his mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, on Sunday at London's Dorchester hotel." He 'lashed out' at them and got arrested? I think they were jealous of the hype over the movie and just wanted some attention.  (Jul 22, 2008 | post #34)
