Bible study rules for public schools proposed

Note that the above poster completly disregarded the 1st & 2nd half of my post he comented on. That is because he knows it to be truth. Child molesters and other criminals are, for the most part, NOT judged by society, when you look at the whole of society as the world. Who can tell the mind of God? No one. Not even His Only Son, Jesus Christ. I am truly sorry if something in your life has made you think God does not punish the wicked in His own time, or that He has left you alone to deal. I do not have a good post about this, and I do not know what to say except that everything happens for a reason. If you are full of sorrow, if you are angry at God for the evil on this earth being able to rule, and not being swiftly handled, there is two books you should read. The first one is the Bible. It is very comforting. The second, The Shack, by William p. Young. I don't know if this one will help you. Your greif might be far worse. You may be blessed enough not to have experianced the greif that happened to the man in this book. I don't know your life, what is behind or what lies ahead. Every life has good and bad in it. The past is not to be forgotten; we are to learn from it. The future, however, should not be stained by the past. As for the present, make the most of it with the ones you love; and come to terms, in your own time, with God. His embrace will be there for you, when you are ready...  (Jul 6, 2013 | post #108142)

http://www.foxnews .com/us/2012/02/15 /colorado-student- reportedly-quits-c hoir-over-islamic- song/ Was that islamic song not going to be preformed in front of many people. Of course, it is a choice not to attend the concert, but what parent is going to refuse when their child is singing up on stage? It is also a choice not to attend a graduation ceramony. If the people didn't like what they heard, they could have got up and left. No one made a commotion about alah being mentioned in the choir song, so why did they about God being mentioned in a graduation speech? Btw, I meant to spell alah and budahs names wrong, and I meant not to capatalize them as well, as I have no respect or reverence for these false gods. You may think you're playing a game, but I know better. The salvation of a soul is not a game and no laughing matter. I will not prove science to you. God gave you two eyes and ten fingers, which you should thank Him for. Look it up your self. Unless YOU haven't figured out how to really use the internet yet...  (Jul 6, 2013 | post #108134)

Evolutionists believe that everything started with a big bang, and all living organisms slowly started to appear, one from another. Go ask an evolutionist if they believe in the God from the Bible... Now go ask a Christian where God fits in to the theory/religion of evolution... see my point? Leave Gandalf the Grey, whom is now Gandalf the White, out of it. What did he ever do to you? He had some good advice for anyone who will listen, though... It's all about what you do with the time you have been given...  (Jul 5, 2013 | post #108082)

Sheesh, don't get your turban in a knot! I did not say someone was stopping Christians from silently praying; although I'm sure that's coming. The public school system is stopping Christians from speaking openly about their beliefs; as noted in the statement you commented on. I am positive if a the grad would have mentioned ahla or budah, there would have been no opposition. And no, Christians are not going to stop wearing Crosses, just like muslims are not going to stop wearing coverings, and teachers are not going to stop teaching evolutionism. Your either for it or aginst it, baby. Just like you are either for The True God or aginst him. You can not take one out with out taking them all out. You can not serve God and the devil. So, if the public school system is going to continue to push evolutionism down american children's throats, they might as well be pushing Creationism, too. Science backs it as well. Look it up.  (Jul 5, 2013 | post #108081)

Ohh, I see now. If a 2 yr. old looks at candy in a store aisle, thinks it's pretty, and puts it in his/her pocket, his/her conscience automaticly knows that what he/she has done is wrong, without any previos teaching, and causes the toddler to have regret. LOL;) Your funny... That, my friend, WOULD be a perfect teaching opportunity for the child, and no, punishment SHOULD NOT be a factor. It is the same with new Christians. God gives us plenty of learning opportunities, with pop quizes and tests all along the way. Plus, we have to best study guide on the market, the Bible! Now, picture the same 2 yr. old, 14 yr.s later. After being taught and guided by his/her parents all his/her young life, he/she still doesn't get that stealing is wrong. He/she sees a pair of shiny new Reboks on the shoe store shelf, kicks of his/her old sneakers, slips on those, and walks out the door. The teen doesn't get very far, though, because the store security gaurd caught the whole action on tape. The police are notified. Should this 16 yr. old be punished? Of course. He knows not to steel and he did it anyway. This is also the same way with us and God. God teaches us, and teaches us, and teaches us, until finally we get it. However, even though get it, does that mean we won't try to get away with it? No. God is like the security gaurd, catching it all on tape. Just like the kid in the example, we to need to be punished. I'm not talking about go strait to hell, do not pass go, do not collect $200. God punishes us down here on earth. I am not going to explain THAT ONE to you; although I will say recently I Injured my miniscus, and I can probably link that to the way I was treating my Mother. I would also say that it is scary having someone running around who thinks that what is right for one person is wrong for another. I wonder if that is the mind set of adulterers, bank robbers, and child molesters??? (After all, in some countries they think it's 'right' to eldery men to marry 9 yr. old girls. Is that what you were talking about?)  (Jul 5, 2013 | post #108080)

Evolutionism is a religion/theory whose followers believe with all their heart, mind, and soul that there is no God. Atheism is a religion whose followers believe with all their heart, mind, and soul there is no God. See the resemblance? Recently, a high school grad's college future was threatend because he mentioned God in his graduation speech. The public school has strict guidelines that say what a kid can and cannot say in front of people. God, and the Christian Faith, is on the CANNOT list. Like I have previosly posted; if you are going to talk seperation of religion and school, then tell muslims they can't wear head coverings and bow down at their certian times each day, tell atheists they can't wear t-shirts that say there's no God, tell Jews they can't wear Jewish Star necklaces, tell launguge arts teachers not to read/have read ANY literature having to do with ANY religion. And for Heavens Sake, tell science teachers not to teach the religon/theory of evolution!  (Jul 5, 2013 | post #108077)

Did you ever lie to your Mommy, or steal a cookie, when you were a wee child? If you did not know that lieing and stealing are wrong, would your conscience make you feel bad about it? No. Who would be your responsible judge? Your parents. Ahhh, but how can your parents judge you, and deal out an appropriate punishment, if you did not know those things are wrong? Well, of course they should teach you the right way. It's the same way with Father God and the Bible. Father God is our Judge when our conscience doesn't catch us. As we all know, many people have many differnt beliefs on what's right and wrong. Of course if we think something is right, our conscience will not catch us. So, just so we know what is right and wrong, there is a book called the Bible. That is God's way of teaching us the right way. There is not one thing that happens to us during this life that has not been discussed in it. I do not pretend to know the minds of Atheists, nor do I want to! I don't know the minds of anybody but myself, and even that is ?able at times. Only God knows our minds. He knew us even before He sent us down to this planet. Believe it or not, He want's us all to come back to Him. The question is, will we choose to???  (Jul 5, 2013 | post #108075)

Death should not scare you. What happens after death should. You do not believe in an 'afterlife' because you do not want to think about being held responsible for actions commited down here on earth. You can lie to your brother, cheat on your wife, kill your neighbor; and as long as no person finds out, you don't have to face up... right??? That is what you want to believe. The diagnoses if you are not looking at it from a Biblical point of veiw: anti-social personality disorder. Go get looked at by a local phycologyst. The diagnoses from a godly point of view: Hatred towrd fellow human beings. Jesus Christ said that the most important commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself, and to love Him. Do you want the truth??? Every action commited during this life will be presented and judged upon when we pass on. Now, think for a moment about everything you have ever done... What do you think would be the verdict? In America we are appointed an attorny, if we choose. Right now God is asking us if we want an attorny to represent us at the big court house in the sky. Who is this attorny? Jesus Christ, the Judges only son. After God has read off every sin we've ever comitted, and we are standing before Him; God asks who will speak for this man/woman. If you chose Jesus Christ as your attorny during your time in this world, He will step up and say, "I cover him/her with my blood". God says, "Very well! Thank you, and welcome to eternity!" If you did not choose Jesus Christ, then no one speaks up for you. God says, "I have never known you. Cast him/her out, where there will be weeping, burning, and gnashing of teath, forever and ever!" That is the truth. Period. And it's all up to you. God has done his part. Now you have to choose...  (Jul 4, 2013 | post #107976)

No, I'm not a poe... I am serious. And you are very right to be scared. Anyone who is traveling down a path like yours should be petrified... not for the path it's self, but for the judging God whom lies ahead... It dosn't have to be this way, though! The Bible says that God loves this ol' world so much, that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to be spat on, whipped, humiliated, layed on a board and nails pounded through His skin and flesh, and a spear thrust in His side. And for what? What crime did He do? Murderers and child molesters don't get treated as horrid! Jesus Christ was persicuted, tortured, and killed because He stood up for us. God didn't want us all to have to go to Hell, so He gave us a choice: Do as we wish, say He dosn't exist, pull your little scientific theory of evolution out of your hat(btw, Creationism has also been scientificly proved); or just believe. Believe in Father God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit. Believe that God sent His Son to save us from our sins. Read the Bible, believe it, do what it says. And pray: Father God, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit, I am a sinner. I know Jesus came down to the world to save me from my sins. I accept the gift. Please, forgive me! I have done so much wrong in my life that it weighs me down. I want you to lead me. I want to be made new. Come in to my heart and I will do what you say. I Love you. I believe... now I believe. In Jesus Christ's Name I pray... Amen  (Jul 4, 2013 | post #107942)

I have a FACT for anyone who believes in the THEORY that human kind developed from sludge or monkeys. Evolutionism is a Religion that shouldn't be pushed, or even mentioned, to the children attending public schools. Period. If you are going to talk seperation of government and religion/schools and religion, then come on! Let's not forget all those other religions in this world. If a Christian is forced not to pray or speak, a muslim should be forced not to bow or wear a head covering, and teachers should be forced not to teach the religion known as evolutionism. If you are reading this, please take a moment... If you have a bible, read it. If you don't, go buy or borrow one: King James, New American Standerd, or Giddion. Sometimes a church will give them out for free. IT IS NOT A FAIRY TALE!!! Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Everything that happened in the Old and New Testament DID happen. I am not asking that teachers at public schools push Christianity on kids; I'm asking parents at home push Christianity on kids! It is the parents responsibility to FIGHT the spiritual battle for their children. And parents should leave a path they would want their children to follow...  (Jul 2, 2013 | post #107886)
