Thanks to both Monte and Kelli_Neil for responding. Have a good weekend everyone! (Mar 12, 2009 | post #430)
I have a valid Calif. driver's license, however I do not OWN a vehicle. I often drive my mother's or my boyfriend's vehicle. My mom says drivers must be insured and if the driver fails to show proof of insurance when pulled over that the license will be taken and the vehicle impounded. My boyfriend says the driver would be allowed to drive the vehicle home or back to the owner and their license could be suspended at the hearing if proof of insurance could not be provided (I understand coverage would have to include the ticket date). If the state's law is that drivers must be insured, how does one obtain vehicle insurance withOUT a vehicle or do I need to be added to both my mom's and boyfriend's policies as a driver? WHY DOESN'T DMV JUST SELL INSURANCE ALONG W/DRIVER'S LICENSES? And since I do not have insurance (since I do not own a car) am I legally driving ILlegally or am I illegally driving Legally? (LOL i just thought that was a funny observation or whatever) (Mar 5, 2009 | post #427)
What do you need insurance for? (Jan 30, 2009 | post #348)

QUESTION: How many rounds of ammo does a police officer's service weapon have? Are some officer's holstered weapons able to fire at least 15 rounds before reloading? Just asking because my friend's brother-in-law was shot by a Modesto, Calif police officer a couple of weeks ago. He was wielding a Samurai sword in downtown Modesto at 5:00 am. Only one officer responded to the scene. My friend says he was shot 15 times before back up was called or any other officer arrived. (That last sentence has not been made public as of yet--if true). Thanks! (Jan 30, 2009 | post #406)
Hey as long as we're all having fun, what's the problem? If I gave you something to chuckle about enough so that you poke fun at, then my mission accomplished!!!! ;-) And that makes me very happy~~absolutely nothing wrong with putting a smile on one another's face, right? What has me curious about you and your type is the fact that you hide behind your nic changes and hide behind the large "blanket " of UNITED STATES. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT, my friend? If you were so confident in yourself and your comments or posts, then why not "reveal" yourself or a little tidbit about you? I don't give a $h!t if you think Im "so yesterday" or whatever, that's your opinion--WHOEVER in the h&ll you are!!! But you know what? I GOT your attention and you PAID attention and GAVE me what I was after! So thanks! Have a great weekend poser. P.S. Wrong yard dumba$$~~I dont have a "front lawn", nor a back one LOL loser! I agree with you Ocean56...I feel the reactions that puzzle you (us) are the negative reactions and lets face it; those are the insecure people who need to be in control of relationships and people (aka THE ABUSERS!!) I guess so they feel complete or SOMETHING. What Im trying to say is NOT coming out right, but you understand where Im coming from, right? They will be the LAST ones to try to help stop the abusive cycles; they are afraid to lose the upper-hand and control. And most definitely~ I agree~ that if ONE person is helped by your posts and/or links then JOB WELL DONE! Schools ought to make students watch that movie called THE BURNING BED with Farrah Fawcett in their sex-ed class. I saw that right after I got out of an abusive marriage. Everything was still "raw" and it affected me. Ever since that movie, I have vowed that NO man will ever hit me or be abusive to me, because just like the movie....the a-hole has to sleep SOMETIME! (not that two wrongs make a right, but you know????) (Jan 30, 2009 | post #91)
DITTO my comment to Bama Belle to you Garand, and the others mentioned...Was responding to comment with my own whacked sense of humor. My comment showed my opinion of what I understood to be unfriendly, rude and close to threatening comments toward Kelli_Neil and to others posting here from those I mentioned. This is still America, correct? Are you attempting to take my right to freedom of speech away or silence me with your threat? I am not now nor was I threatening you nor others. My apologies for offending ANYONE! (Jan 27, 2009 | post #385)

Do you want any of us to think you are rude? (big LOL!) (Jan 27, 2009 | post #245)
Bama Belle; My apologies if I misunderstood your friendly words of caution and took them for a stronger, unfriendly caution. You mention us not listening and hearing what we wish to hear. This type of communication lacks the "audio" thereby making it difficult, at times, to fully comprehend each other. This is perfect example of why I dislike text messages; a person's "tone" can not be heard. The exchange of comments between TexasGirl and myself, was merely a little humorous banter, we added the "ha ha's" and the "LOL's". Thanks for replying and clarifying your comments and point(s) that you made. (Jan 27, 2009 | post #382)
