Mets closer to getting a closer

K Rod and Street would be good. Then the can focus on the rest of that lousy pen.  (Dec 8, 2008 | post #3)

D'Antoni will have bench options against Hawks

Gee, the Knicks are owned by cablevision, which also owns Newsday? I only see that in every single Newsday article about the Knicks. What a joke this newspaper---owned by cablevision, which also owns the knicks---has become.  (Dec 5, 2008 | post #2)

It's time for the Giants to say goodbye to Burress

Glauber is right. Get rid of this punk. This is a team. Buress is an individual who doesn't care about team. BYE!  (Nov 30, 2008 | post #44)

Maybe Sabathia doesn't really want to be a Yankee

Yeah, diver, you take Oliver Perez. He's a nut case. CC wants to be in the NL, so he should take the 100 million Milw. offered. Screw the union telling him where to play. Twenty million for even one year would set us all up for life. What the F is the difference? Play where you want, CC.  (Nov 25, 2008 | post #6)

A Giants-Jets Super Bowl? Why not?

Anything can happen in the playoffs. It's pretty silly even considering that either team will get in. I'm a Giants fan, and they're no lock either. Anything can happen and usually does. How many point underdog were the Giants every week of the playoffs last year? Now all of a sudden no one's stopping the Giants? Please.  (Nov 25, 2008 | post #3)

D'Antoni has toughest job in town

I say send him home and let him collect his money away from the team. He gets all those millions for doing nothing anyway. Let him rot out the year not playing for anyone, the dog. Anyone reading this is working so much harder than this punk and making chump change compared to him. Anyone crying over Marbury ought to have his head examined.  (Nov 23, 2008 | post #2)

Richardson helps Knicks hold off Wizards

I agree. They'll be better without Crawford and Randolph. Both were one on one players that didn't play much defense. That's why they don't play for winning teams. This was a statement game, yes. It was a statement to that dog Marbury that sits on the end of bench that this is what heart is all about.  (Nov 23, 2008 | post #2)

Mets may not look different in 2009

If so, anyone who shows up and pays all that money or even watches them on TV is a sucker. This is a team of chokers. the Wilpons laugh all the way to the bank, suckers. They don't care about winning. They're making money  (Nov 22, 2008 | post #9)

Mets taking their time on free agent market

I agree. Get two of the three. Jenks and Fuentes would make a nice late inning combo.  (Nov 14, 2008 | post #3)

Mets still exploring beefing up the bullpen

yawn. so far they are doing nothing except signing that idiot delgado and then apparently planning to bring him back instead of trading him NOW to an AL team for some good value. NO, they will retain all of the losers from last year. I'm not watching that same time dance in front of the dugout with a one run lead in May and then choke in Sept.  (Nov 13, 2008 | post #3)

Knicks' Gallinari struggles to overcome injury

Just go back to Italy. Come back when your back is strong. Forget about this year. Fugetaboutit.  (Nov 11, 2008 | post #4)

Change for America, but at what cost?

No, I think Bush wrested that one away from Carter already. Anyway, Carter wasn't the worst. He did a lot of good. Maybe the best person that was ever president.  (Nov 9, 2008 | post #3)

Just didn't work out for Larry Brown

Brown's hands were tied. He had no say. He was out of there. Don't blame him, blame that idiot Dolan and that back stabber Isaiah  (Nov 6, 2008 | post #1)

Omar: Mets priority pitching, not Manny

Headline should read, "Mets priority Hispanic pitching." (Fuentes, Cordero) I'm sure Omar will keep Delgado, not do the smart thing and trade him to an AL team for some value. I mean, who would dance with Reyes after grabbing a one run lead in May?  (Nov 6, 2008 | post #2)

Mets offseason priority is pitching

Ibanez but not Orlando Hudson. That makes no sense. Minaya is going to keep that load Castillo. Same old same old same OLD Mets.  (Nov 5, 2008 | post #1)
