Why scabies itch more at night?

I warned you to get off my case. NO you jerk I didn't dance around with a kitten on my head. It wanted to sleep on my pillow next to my head. NO, I would never just toss an animal out, my son who is not a child he is 40 something years old loves to rescue dogs and cats and find them homes. I asked him to please take the kitten to an adoption center. This is the last you here will here from me as I have reported you for abuse. I cannot believe how incredibly ignorant you are when people are suffering.  (Nov 17, 2013 | post #126)

how to get rid of scabies and not get reinfested

Oops, I meant I DON'T NEED adult diapers, but going to wear them anyway to keep bastards off that area.  (Nov 15, 2013 | post #29)

You so correct. I will never stay at anyone's home again, nor shake hands, nor use a public restroom just in case, nor a Motel or Hotel Room..unless possibly I know for sure it has been vacant for a month or more. Today, I'm shopping online at the Medical Supplies Stores and buying paper sheets, paper pillow cases, paper toilet covers to throw away each time you use it. Bought a couple dozen cheap men's oversized tee shirts that can be boiled, I need adult diapers but going to wear them anyway to protect where these Bastards are going. Also, disposable paper foot covers that surgeons wear and then toss. I may end up shaving my waist length hair off yet. Better bald than infested. Good luck to all and God bless you. This is the worst thing I've ever faced and I thought other hard times were bad.  (Nov 15, 2013 | post #28)

RandomDuders: I am in the south of USA. I don't have much medical coverage due to being disabled, so the ability to see many specialized Doctors is limited. However for the last 9 years I have been to several doctors, even Dermatologists in which they have repeatedly misdiagnosed whatever it is I have. Every time they would say "Oh, it's just dermatitis", I knew they were wrong even from the beginning. That's when I turned to the Internet for help. I am positive I either picked up what ever it is from a diseased kitten I had for one day or a nursing home when I broke my pelvic bone and had stay in a nursing home for a month to recover. Those situations both took place 9 years ago. I have begged and pleaded for help from all doctors It stayed on my head all that time until just recently when it spread to my entire body, only then did my new doctor say it was scabies. It is clearing pretty well on my body, but still won't clear on my scalp. I guess now I'm going to have to get a little forceful and nasty with the doctor and tell her I must see another specialist. I was hoping someone on here might have an idea what it was, I guess not. Thank you for your advice truly.  (Oct 29, 2013 | post #4)

HELP HELP...I was just diagnosed with scabies after 9 or 10 miserable long years of misdiagnoses. NOW...not even sure it's scabies. I am literally sick at my stomach at the moment. I just now saw a tiny white slinder thing on my bed...and it was moving...really I put my glasses on to make sure and watched for a while. The thing was slowly rolling and kinda squirming like a tiny worm. I am freaking out here. What the heck could it be? I get the black and white specks in my sheets along with brown long skinny sliver looking things and hard white chunks of skin I guess. Now this wiggly nasty thing shows up. They say scabies rarely goes to the scalp, but whatever I have it started on the scalp, then advanced to my body, with red long scratches appearing out of no-where and burns like fire. Then, I finally see the scabies burrows for the first time the other day and showed them to Doc..she said yep scabies. But, since reading more and hearing scabies don't generally live on the scalp, I thought Morgellons (sp). Can anyone help identify this crap? I'm sooo sick after actually seeing this wormy thing move. HELP PLEASE  (Oct 28, 2013 | post #2)

Scabies and hair growth

Since I was misdiagnosed by many doctors I have had these vampires on my scalp for years now. Last week I finally found out it has been scabies all along on my scalp, now on my body as well. I have quite long hair, but it stopped growing a longtime ago. Also have lost a lot of hair...very thin now. Does anyone know if I can really get rid of them forever, will my hair start growing again in both volume and length? I read they like to hang onto your hair follicles and suck blood from tiny vessels under the follicle. Also, sorry if this question sounds silly: For 2 days/nights now I am getting tickled by own hair that has somehow gotten inside my pajamas, I'm pulling many long head hairs out of pajamas. This has never happened before. Is it possible these vampire bugs can drag your loose hairs inside your clothes and try to pull the hairs inside their burrows? My hair has been going south and always tickling me near my privates. I believe I read somewhere that they do use your hair and fibers to pull inside the burrows. I know my hair is traveling and I end up pulling long hairs out of my pajama bottoms. This is all so sickening. Also, when I scratch the top of my head...not kidding, my eyesight gets blurred. Could this mean when I scratch they run into my eyes? Thanks again for any help or answers.  (Oct 27, 2013 | post #1)

Scabies

Artifacts in my bed

Could someone please explain to me what the black and white specks in my bed are? Also, now very hard like fingernails white chunks and slivers of something coming off me into my bed. Also have found many of these all the same shaped things in bed from time to time that are about 1/4 in high x 1/4 in long and a little narrower. Colors range from light beige/yellow to dark maroon. They are completely slick flat on the bottoms as if they were sliced off with a razor. They look like tiny mountains with ridges all the way around and hard but crispy. I am so disgusted I'm actually sick at my stomach 24/7 from all these artifacts and vampires in and on me. About to have a complete nervous breakdown after having this for years and misdiagnosed by many doctors. I think possibly I may have the Norweign scabies on my scalp. After shampooing at night and all seems clear...I wake up with like dry dry patches all over my scalp and they are raised, but hard like bone. If it is Norweigen how the heck do I treat this kind? Barfy, I'm so disgusted. It's even hard to eat because if I see anything with black specks in my food I get sick at my stomach and won't eat it. I know, I know it's paranoid...but I never could tolerate bugs and spiders anyway. Thank you for any help and advice on this.  (Oct 27, 2013 | post #1)

Why scabies itch more at night?

Thank you CBC for your help. I've been shampooing with Tea Tree Oil and will now add Neem Oil to my regime. Oh and lice shampoo. I've been nervous about using chemical things as I have severe chemical sensitivities and asthma...Oh well, gotta do what what we gotta do. Thanks again so much, I appreciate all and any advice. After 10 years of this I'm a wreck and feel fried.  (Oct 27, 2013 | post #120)

Why scabies itch more at night?

Thank you Scabiesxnightmare: I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner, I got lost on here somehow and didn't see your response. I will get the euclyptus oil and try it as you suggest. These bugs had to have started on my scalp 9 or 10 years ago I believe from a kitten my son found in a junk yard and he brought it to me. It had a horrible looking sore on it's head and it wanted to sleep on top of my head. I couldn't tolerate that and sent the kitty packing the next day. It was soon after that I began getting painful bumps on my scalp and itching like crazy, then they spread and spread all over my scalp. Also, I could feel things moving like under my scalp. I went to the Derm and told him about the cat and how it felt on my scalp like bugs in there. He and his nurse just laughed at me, he told me I just had dermatitis and use the anti-fungal shampoo. I scrubbed and scrubbed my scalp to no avail. I went to many doctors over these last 9 or so years, none would even pay me any attention. So, I figured I must have been paranoid was all it must be dermatitis. Two years ago I started seeing tons of black dots and other pieces of junk in my bed every morning. I did some research, but missed scabies. My fault. So, I searched my house and bed for bed bugs constantly, not finding one. So, I told myself it's got to be sand from my other cats feet as he sleeps with me. I had no sores or itching on my body at that time, only on my scalp. I told another doctor about it, he did a culture and found I had staph infection on my scalp. Then last year in the summer I got bites and bad sores all over my legs and the horrible itching. Thought it was mosquito bites from sitting on deck. They went away in the winter. I got them back again this summer even worse, and began to find large objects of something about 1/4 in tall x 1/4 in wide in shades from light yellow to deep maroon color..freaking me out. Those stopped then I started getting long red scratches all over my body and intense scratching. I researched for the scratches and only found people thinking they were ghost scratches or such. My mother heard a woman just recently who went through the same for many years with her scalp and finally found out she had scabies. Again I went back to the doctor and told I thought I had them...thank God she listened and said yes it was scabies. Now I am even more traumatized knowing it and totally exhausted from trying to sterilize everything. With my limited movement and very little strength being disabled, I'm on the edge of a nervous breakdown Have always been spider and bug phobic anyway. Do we ever heal emotionally after it's over? Thx  (Oct 27, 2013 | post #119)

Will the scars ever go away or fade?

Hi...I'm new and not so computer literate, so I'm just posting this for now after I had posted 2 questions. I need to see if this is coming through to everyone and on the correct year. Thank you for your patience. Could anyone possibly reply if I'm doing this right or not? Thanks again.  (Oct 17, 2013 | post #7)

Why scabies itch more at night?

Back again, since I found out about the filthy bugs I have sleeping with my lights on in my bedroom. I haven't been bitten once since doing this. Any explanation for this? I know I did it because all bugs hate the daylight.  (Oct 17, 2013 | post #115)

Why scabies itch more at night?

Hi, I'm new here. I have been reading all over the Internet for the past 3 days on these nasty bugs. I had no idea I had scabies until 3 days ago when someone mentioned it could be them. I thought it bed bugs or some other creature. Over the years of showing doctors my scalp which I know now is infested for 10 year's...the doctors always said it was dermatitis, but their shampoo's didn't work. Then I started seeing hundreds of little pepper like balls in my bed every morning...still thought I was fighting bed bugs. The the rash started down my neck and now in the groin area. My though was "What the H__l is going on. I am disabled and only have a caregiver once a week, not often enough to change my sheets and do laundry, etc. So, tonight I did the best I could with I have on hand. Washed my entire body with a peppermint bath wash I read they hate peppermint, covered my head in a towel and keeping it on, stripped my bed best I could since I'm so weak it's a great challenge for me. Clean PJ's, sprinkled baby powder all over myself and all over bed sheets. I see all of you have been fighting this beast for months and years also. So, that I don't have to keep reading from posts all the way back to 2007..does anyone have one great solution to killing these monsters? One or more products that really works? I go to my doctor in the morning today, but I expect her to ignore me as usual with my pleas for help on my scalp...now on my body after all these years. I have read the prescription stuff doesn't work very well. Thank you for any and all answers.  (Oct 17, 2013 | post #114)
