Colorado Sports Desk Pat Bowlen Is Very Disappointed
Actually, Pat Bowlen has sat in on all meetings. He has first hand knowledge of the situation. Here is one example. http://coloradospo rtsdesk.com/wp/?p= 109 (Mar 16, 2009 | post #2)
The Rockies, a major league-best 20-7 since May 22, cooled off the surging Yankees, who had won 14 of 17 coming into Coors Field. They outscored New York 13-5 in the series, compared to their 41-29 deficit in the 2002 set. (Jun 21, 2007 | post #25)
Didn't say that. But, at this point. The Rockies are better than the spanks. The sweep speaks for itself. Go Rockies. (Jun 21, 2007 | post #24)
I couldn't agree more. It's amazing to me that Yankee fans will never give credit where it is due. It seems as if everything is what the Yankee's did wrong. It is the Rockies playing excellent baseball, that went wrong. Evidence, they are the best team in baseball over the last month. Wake up Yankee fans. So, get tough Yankee fans. Look deep down inside I know you can find it in you. If you truly like baseball, you will find a good baseball game. (Jun 21, 2007 | post #20)

He's a beast. He can, and should. (Jun 21, 2007 | post #5)
ahhhh, that's it can't find a good come back. Insult me. That works. And, yeah thats right some of them are the same caliber of player. You might not know these player's because the Yankee's haven't bought them, yet! The Rockies have a better "Team". And, there is a difference. Because, all those superstars are not playing like a team. Are they better individually. Yeah, with a few exceptions. (Jun 21, 2007 | post #22)
No, it's not about the revenue jackass. It's about having an even playing field. As, all other major sports do. Im sure if your a Yankee fan it's great. Hey, I know. Why don't we just shut down the rest of baseball. And, let the Yankees and Red Sox battle it out. That would be fun for the whole nation. Can't wait. (Jun 21, 2007 | post #21)
I am also saying that this is why there should be a salary cap in baseball. It's not an even playing field. The difference in payrolls is ridiculous. (Jun 21, 2007 | post #13)
No, what I am saying is the Rockies have some of the same caliber of player's(built through the farm system), as the Yankees have(Built on preying on less fortunate teams farm systems). (Jun 21, 2007 | post #12)

It seems all hole's have been filled. (Jun 20, 2007 | post #3)
It figures that Yankee fans would totally dismiss the fact that the Rockies are a good baseball team, that has been built through the farm system. Rockies are the best team in the majors over the last month. Injuries and slow starts slowed the team in the beginning of the season. After tonight's win, the Rockies have now won 6 series in a row. The Yankees began this season with a $195 million payroll. That’s $52 million more than the nearest team, the Red Sox. The Rockies ranked 25th in baseball with a $54 million opening-day payroll. Someone's getting more bang for there buck! (Jun 20, 2007 | post #10)

My money is on the Broncos! (Jun 20, 2007 | post #1)
Rockies silence Yankees bats in win
You might want to do a little research. The Rockies have been the best team in the NL over the last month. If you are just tunning in. They have won the last 5 series. And, have taken on some great pitching in that stretch. This team is good. Watch and learn. (Jun 20, 2007 | post #16)
Nuggets Nene to play for Brazilian national team
Injuries are the biggest scare of all this extra basketball. (Jun 20, 2007 | post #3)
