A bunch of hype. Only 20 people showed up to march. And only the liberal leaning Huff Post reported on it after 9/11:http://www.hu ffingtonpost.com/2 013/09/11/million- muslim-march_n_390 6303.html Haven't seen any conservatives websites post anything about the outrageous act that wasn't.  (Sep 17, 2013 | post #8)

Don't you think this would most likely lead to segregated schools on an economic basis?  (May 29, 2013 | post #56)

Who is at fault is the local voting population. Public Education is not controlled by the Federal Government but by State and local government. Given that the state of GA is a Red state, who would you blame?  (May 28, 2013 | post #48)

Whose tax money? Do you want to give the same tax money to everyone even though they don't pay the same amount of taxes? Do you thing that tax money paid by you and others supplementing others lower tax payments should go to religious schools?  (May 28, 2013 | post #47)

And so what about families who can't afford to transport their children to a private school which does not exist in their town?  (May 28, 2013 | post #46)

Very Good points. However, students can move schools within a district if there is enough room at the desired school. The district administration will take notice of this. Plus, if you want to make changes to you LOCAL school system you can. GA public schools are controlled by state and local government. Taking tax money that the student's family more than likely did not generate will further cripple an underfunded school district.  (May 28, 2013 | post #40)

However, enrollment in private schools has decreased by 1% and increased in public schools by 1% consistently since 2008. Not a huge change but a steady change nonetheless. Does it make sense to divert tax dollars away from struggling public schools to fund Christian, Jewish and Muslim schools in greater Atlanta? And to increase this amount to $58 Million dollars even while private school enrollment continually decreases?  (May 28, 2013 | post #39)

So, just so I get this straight: All Democrats are primarily in office so they can gain power by handing out government jobs and contracts to political allies and greedy citizens who will vote for them just because they get something tangible in return?  (May 4, 2013 | post #25)
