Socialize Health Care? or Christianize Health Care?

I think we should do away with the term Socialize Health Care, and call it Christianize Health Care, because it's what the lord would want. Everybody should have equal health care. No matter if your a son or daughter of a CEO, or a child of a mother or father that works at a Walmart, or something alittle more lower to middle class. My question to all of you smart peoples is where would the money come from to ensure 50 million americans in this country that do not have healthcare, to actually have it if we socialize it? It would be from the government right? They would tax us more to provide the everyone in America? Would you be willing to sacrafice a little of your money to help ensure every American in this country? That doesn't have the opportunity as others? Just a question!!!!! Trying to Learn alittle something.  (Sep 29, 2007 | post #1)

Well Well, not too long ago, I have a Brewers fan telling me to face reality with my Cubbies. I am not here to talk any smack, but maybe he spoke to me too soon :)  (Sep 23, 2007 | post #1)

Yeah. Well it is what it is you know? Nothing you nor I can do about except sit here and complain about it to a dead-horse. We are hopeless, until Barack Obama becomes the Next President.  (Sep 19, 2007 | post #934)

Prett much I agree with you about Iraq being defenseless. However, I don't agree with you saying that it was about a long range plan for enery and security. We had no intensions of going in to iraq if Saddam wouldn't have neglected the UN inspectors and the UN got what we wanted out of a cooperative Iraq. Instead, we had a leader that was defiant on ignoring us. He obviously gased his own people and wasnt exactly a great leader. He lead the country with the fear of his own will. Which in retrospect is very smart on his half, because it demands results, but in the end it just isn't right. It's not right to command people in such a way he did. You don't believe that getting him out of power was a good idea? I believe it was regardless. It's better for the future. What I don't agree on now is we have an policy to stay there as long as we are needed by the Iraqi's.  (Sep 19, 2007 | post #922)

Bush is a hero

Cheney, Rumsfield, Rove, Tenet...alot of them went over the top with statements that they had no evidence on WMD. Colin Powell, Rice...we're the good people in the admin that knew what they we're facing. Joe Biden, he knew from the get go. Too bad Rice got shamed by Bush, I bet she would give Hillary a run for her money.  (Sep 19, 2007 | post #911)

In case you didn't notice in my post, I said that there we're mistakes that have happened, but the point of the matter is that we are here now. Get over it. I am fighting for the right, not you.  (Sep 19, 2007 | post #907)

I'm glad that I am over here. For the reasons may not be crystal clear, Bush Administration might blew things up or whatever, but just to let everyone know BUSH was not a war president until he was sitting in that Florida school full of children and we got attacked. Since, then he became a war president, and yes he made many mistakes or his admin has, but we are over here now, and we just can't up and leave. We can't face it. Don't worry about it either if you aint affected directly, because we are over here the Marines. We will do the dirty work so you can sit back and let politics get into the way rather than protect you and your families!!!! I suggest everyone read the book Dead Certain The Presidency of George Bush.  (Sep 19, 2007 | post #899)

Chargers prove they'd rather play than talk

The only reason why we even scored 3 points was because Mike Brown put us in scoring position. Lord knows we weren't going to score a touchdown, but we we're definitely in field goal possesion. If it wasn't for that INT, we more than likely would have never scored.  (Sep 11, 2007 | post #26)

I understand your logic. Honestly, nobody in this league is worried about Rex Grossman harming them. Yes Rex will have his decent games where he will do better than sub-par but for the most part, no1 in this league, most of chicago fans I would say have confidence in REX. He likely to throw a couple of decent passes in a hurry up offense toward the end of the game, and then when he gets rushed he will just throw the ball up and try to make something happen to quickly and it will be another piss poor decision. He needs to restore confidence in the bears fans again. I can't believe Chicago didnt try and go out and get a half-way decent QB to back up REX. To put pressure on him to perform or something is going to take his spot. It's like President Bush. You know your not going to loose your spot, because even though you are hated so much, you have people around you that support you no matter what/how your performance is.  (Sep 10, 2007 | post #20)
