Nothing in the above SPAM constitutes an argument in support of your ... ahem... "prime mover". Nothing. You don't even try. The **default** position is **no**god**. You have failed to show ***any** valid argument that refutes this.  (Monday Jun 30 | post #74222)

And 5 years of you, failing to provide even ONE (1) argument in support of this alleged "prime mover". One (1) argument. That's all anyone ever asked. 5 years of nothing from you... ... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm  (Jun 29, 2014 | post #74216)

Do it. I double dare ya! <literally laughing out loud at the prospect of this 3 year old's "threats "... > What are you going to do? **pray** some more? Why don't you pray for some brains... or perhaps an education in basic English? <laughing even more> Clearly, this Evan dude is a product of modern home schooling....  (Jun 29, 2014 | post #44)

I haven't posted in quite a bit, not on Topix at any rate. But this was too delicious to pass up-- not only did the douchenozzle **not** take away my computer? His god didn't either. <laffin>  (Jun 29, 2014 | post #43)

Atheism requires as much faith as religion?

Yes... that much is true. But even his worst novels are still entertaining, for the most part.  (Apr 26, 2014 | post #227125)

I will now make a prediction. <grin> The prediction is this: His excuse for all the evil that those historical Genuine Christians™ did in the past? Will be one or more of the following logical fallacies: 1) they were not Real Christians™ 2) They were over zealous (see #1) 3) Things Were Different Then (i.e. slavery was not really that bad, "back then")  (Apr 26, 2014 | post #227123)

Let's concentrate on your final bit of hypocrisy, shall we? You say, "... while I do think abortion is pure evil God will have the last word." Really? Because if your god is real? Your god is directly responsible for most of the abortions in all of human history! Seriously-- if your god is actually in charge (as gods are wont to be), then looking at the **FACTS** of the matter: According to medical studies, approximately 3 of 5 fertilized human fetuses are naturally aborted for one reason or another. Since we are speaking of a divine agency here (god)? Then it means that these 3 "naturally " aborted fetuses did so, because your god **allowed** it. Or worse-- your god's will at work-- your god **caused** it. Either way? Your god is responsible for 3 out of 5 abortions from the beginning of human history to the present. Your god, therefore, is the **most** prolific abortionist of all of history. You may wish to rephrase your future sayings on this subject-- your god obviously has no problem with it at **all**...  (Apr 26, 2014 | post #227121)

Why Do Atheists Ridicule Christianity?

As for the cause and effect argument? Modern studies of quantum mechanics has tossed *that* out the window too. The *macro* effects of all those billions of quantum-level effects piling up and averaging out, do appear to generate cause and effect phenomena. But at the quantum mechanical level? There is no cause and effect. At least none that we've detected presently. And none of the modern, highly-proven theories allow for it either. Apparently, at the most basic level, our universe is not base on cause and effect at all. Which pretty much entirely eliminates the need for a Prime Mover.  (Apr 26, 2014 | post #6598)

politics as an alternative to war, the problem with democracies is that you get EXACTLY what you vote for...

I Believe In:

Optimism. Human Beings. Human Culture. The eventual ability of people to see reason, beyond "scary eyes in the dark beyond the campfire". Humans are at their best, when striving to reach beyond their own self-imposed limitations--especially to help a stranger in need. Humans are at their worst, when thinking THEY are the ONLY person with "the answer".
