Kalamazoo Man Killed Girlfriend and Unborn Baby

How are you somebody's cousin, if your not blood related? Is this another one of those "ghetto" relatives, like the kids that call every female parent "mom."  (May 24, 2010 | post #3)

CHANGE One letter CHANCE

Mind blowing, stupid, "don't you have anything better to do" drivel. This whole website, seems lacking, in actual intellectual debate, and conversation. Want to talk about what color our penis' are? Or, some other totally irrelevant nonsense? I'm off this site. Very lame!  (May 16, 2010 | post #14920)

Vet says dog needs Viagra for heart condition

It's a dog! Put it down, and get another one. It's sad, I know, but, VIAGRA, for your dog, is a bit over the edge, in my opinion.  (May 16, 2010 | post #2)

U.S. Sees a Change of Attitude at Toyota

Having worked for several different manufacturers, I can, from experience tell you, that Toyota, is probably one of the best there is, as far as owning up to, and repairing deficiencies in their vehicles, at little or no expense to the owner. Out of warranty repairs, at Toyota expense, are far more likely, than with the big three. They step up, and take care of the customer. The big three, cared about the bottom line! The bottom line of all the execs and other grossly overpaid people. Then when the auto owner needed help, they said they couldn't, and bankrupted themselves, anyway. Shall we talk about roll overs, in Ford Explorers, that Ford tried to pin on Firestone?  (May 12, 2010 | post #14)

Funny! I lived in Waukegan Il, for about a year, a long time ago. It was quite the unique place back then too. Most common question, asked by neighbors, back then?? "You speak Spanish?"  (May 11, 2010 | post #159)

Probably! Along with that, all of the American companies, that supply so many miscellaneous trim parts, can lose that business too. Even without the manufacturing plants, there are the dealerships, with salespeople, parts people, service people, technicians, etc. The owners of these dealerships, also, do a lot for their local communities. I won't even touch on the money made through vehicle financing. They don't spend too much money on advertising in this country either,.... do they????  (May 11, 2010 | post #12)

I'm guessing there was probably some attitude displayed in the courtroom, just like there has been on this post. She probably spoke disrespectfully, about "freedom of speech", with the articulation of a true trailer girl.  (May 11, 2010 | post #152)

Pete, I would have to say it was both. Unions are big businesses too, and were as big of a part of the greed, and shortsightedness, as MANY others, within the auto industry.  (May 10, 2010 | post #8)

U.S. Sees a Change of Attitude at Toyota

You are taking recent events, and distorting them a bit. Recently, you are only partially right. There was information, that should have been shared by Toyota, with the American market. There are way too many details to go into, without being too long winded. The first of which, is the inability to duplicate the problem, in shop/lab conditions. Are you aware, that NASA, is involved with the un-intended acceleration issue? Are you aware that other manufacturer's, have had the same UNRESOLVED issues, recently, and in the past. NASA is investigating the possibility of cosmic rays, causing intermittent glitches in computers. We already know, this is an issue with aircraft, and spacecraft. So few get through, at ground level, they have never been an issue before. With the sophistication of cars and computers today, it may be an issue. NHTSA, are the folks that requested NASA's help. Scoff at Toyota if you want. I'll bet you think the Firestone debacle, with Ford Explorers a few years back, was all Firestone's fault too. 22 years in the service, and repair end of the car business, with a very good understanding of the technical side of cars, I can only say one thing to you. You not, of what you speak. Just enough to misinform others, but, not enough to know what you are talking about. Not trying to be mean, just informative.  (May 10, 2010 | post #7)

FYI Car Manufacturers with the Most Recalls (all time) FORD (5,227) CHEVROLET (4,320) GMC (2,819) DODGE (2,578) VOLVO (1,387) BMW (1,182) HONDA (1,071) PONTIAC (969) TOYOTA (831) JEEP (773) NISSAN (737) PLYMOUTH (736) VOLKSWAGEN (723) MERCURY (698) CHRYSLER (694) BUICK (676) MERCEDES BENZ (608) OLDSMOBILE (590) MITSUBISHI (489) CADILLAC (414) MAZDA (406) AUDI (391) HYUNDAI (315) LINCOLN (305) TRIUMPH (300) Even with Toyota's recent issues and recalls, many of their vehicles, are still some of the highest rated for quality, and consistently, make the "best used cars" to buy list. You may not like who owns them, but, they are proven products. The model you are knocking, is the only 100% U.S. built truck! I wonder how many factory and other related jobs, Toyota creates here, versus, the Big three. Anymore, I'll bet that gap is narrowing. Do you have any Idea, how many Ford vehicles, have a Mazda drive train? By the way, we sell our cars in foreign countries too! Having both served this country, and worked with Toyota for many years, I would say Toyota does more for the U.S. economy, than you think. At least they are moving manufacturing here, instead of to other countries, like the big three have been doing for years.  (May 10, 2010 | post #4)

U.S. Sees a Change of Attitude at Toyota

Are you aware of the number of Toyota vehicles produced and built here? Are you aware, that very few, if any "American cars, are produced solely in the United States anymore? Are you aware, that the unions, have effectively taken the U.S. auto manufacturing, and forced it into other countries, including, but not limited to, Canada, and Mexico? Are you aware, that as of a few years ago,....the ONLY 100%, U.S. built, and manufactured truck, sol in the U.S., was the Toyota Tundra? Let me know how you like your Sony home entertainment system (Japan), your Toshiba TV (Japan), your Panasonic microwave (China), and for that matter, your Bounce dryer sheets (Canada). Then, while you are at it, take a spin in your Mexico produced Ford, or GM car, to show your "loyalty ", to the American manufacturing market, that has been going away and gone, for several years now.  (May 10, 2010 | post #2)

Judge Sends Woman To Jail For Crude T-Shirt

Why cant some people, just understand, that there is a time and a place for everything. A court appearance, an official government function, a religious event, all, require appropriate attire. Hell, even some golf courses I have been on require a collared shirt, with no offensive comments on it. If you are so hell bent, on freedom of speech, that you don't mind offending the dignity of something, ... then you have no dignity yourself. Tom, you sound like a loud mouthed, blow hard, do nothing, bag of hot air. My guess is, you don't even own a suit, and if you do, it is probably polyester.  (May 8, 2010 | post #120)

No,.... your response says a lot about you! You have either NEVER been in a courtroom, and are too stupid to understand proper attire, or you have, and will continue, to spend a lot of time in court rooms. Now, close your trailer door, and go to sleep, before you hurt yourself.  (May 7, 2010 | post #57)
