Whately override on ballot again

If we don't have this money, we'll have to keep cobbling together stuff we need, such as repairs to snowplows in the middle of winter,. We just don't have enough revenue to keep thinhgs going without it, so I'm voting for it.  (Oct 31, 2010 | post #1)

TRADITIONAL US values include slavery, lack of voting for women, lack of civil rights. You want those traditional values back? PROGRESS is a traditional value, too, and it includes making life better for US citizens, including the 11% of those who are gay. Get over it.  (Oct 8, 2010 | post #19)

Noho home invasion

Hardly. It's an accepting, progressive, cool place to live for open minded people. Conservative, closed-minded folk often dislike it here, though, because it does not meet their expectations of "normalcy. "  (Jan 9, 2009 | post #3)

You know nothing about me. I live where I choose, and would never choose to live where you do. I'm sorry you have so much anger in your life, though. Bye.  (Oct 27, 2008 | post #13)

Are you an American Indian? If so, I respect your comment. If not, please think about your own ancestors, who you think would "roll in their graves." Where did they come from? How did they get here? Where would you be today if the people in the USA were as narrow-minded as you are when they came here? Would you be speaking English?  (Oct 23, 2008 | post #9)

Your saracasm is unbecoming. I don't have to bring them into my home. A tiny fraction of my local taxes gives them a little bit of help they sorely need. Maybe you should love your neighbor a little more.  (Oct 23, 2008 | post #8)

Sorry about you and your ancestors, but this isn't about any of them. This is about people who are a lot worse off than you, who can't catch a break. I'm thrilled they can get at least a little of the American dream, here.  (Oct 23, 2008 | post #7)

2008 Presidential Election

The debate is on; McCain agrees to participate

Yeah, I hope they don't ask McCain any hard questions, like "what do you think we should do" or "Why are you here when you said you wouldn't be until it's settled" or "where are your keys?"  (Sep 26, 2008 | post #28)

I live here where this program is in effect, and I think it's great. I notice others posting about how they don't get treated this well, and are apparently jealous. My suggestion to them is that they need to bring a little equal rights and justice to their own towns, as we here in Western Massachusetts are doing to ours.  (Sep 26, 2008 | post #4)
