Did Republicans deliberately crash the US economy? | Mich...

You better believe it! Started with Bush unintentionally, continued with the Republican House in an effort to get rid of President Obama this November.  (Jun 11, 2012 | post #317)

Many blacks shrug off Obama's new view on gays

Whether you agree or disagree, it's only one part of his platform. So they can not vote for Obama because they disagree with 10 out of 50 of his positions or vote for Romney even though they agree with 10 out of 50 of his positions. I have a question. How many white Protestant republicans changed their vote for Obama because Romney is a Mormon?  (May 15, 2012 | post #199)

2008 Presidential Election

Obama Given Pass On Ayers

I would have dropped it after the election. No one's talking about McCain's ties with the crazy religious right, the Keating 5, or him being paling with former KKK members. Because it doesn't matter. No matter how much you piss on yourself and throw a tantrum, the election is over with. If Fox News was to find footage of Obama tapdancing in the isle while Rev. Wright incourageing his congregation to bitchslap the first white person they saw, it wouldn't change squat. He'll still be the next POTUS. So instead of dwelling in the past, how about you do your best to help the country like a could facist conservative does. OK?  (Nov 26, 2008 | post #18)

2008 Presidential Election

There's A Lot To Learn From Michelle Obama

Gov. Palin relied heavily on looks and folksy charm and winks to connect with people. Mrs. Obama doesn't have a gimick to get people to like her. She stays herself whether you like her or not. And speaking of being just a "hard working mom", I don't think it was in the best interest of her children to have them miss school to parade them around like political props. She even admitted that they were missing class. But somehow, the Obama's made sure their daughters didn't miss a day of school, and the only times they were with their parents were when school was out. And I hate to bring the kids into this because their a reflection of their parents, but I have to point this out. We all know how Bristol is and the company she keeps. She has pictures on the net that are nothing short of embarrasing. On interviews, the Obama girls are well spoken and polite, and clearly smart and mature beyond their years. That's a product of good parenting.  (Nov 26, 2008 | post #204)

2008 Presidential Election

There's A Lot To Learn From Michelle Obama

You can't be serious. Ivy league schools are notoriously known for the high academic standards it takes to even get in. Mrs. Obama grew up in a middle class family. Her and Barack just paid their school loans off. Gov Palin went to 5 schools, none notable, to get a five year degree. Gov. Palin is flat out not educated enough to accomplish what Mrs. Obama has. All she's done is manage to ruin a small town's economy, and win the governacy of a overwhelmingly conservative state by being a conservative woman. She was suppose to be known for her debating skills, but that didn't go over too well verses Joe Biden. Maybe the standards are higher in the lower 48. Gov. Palin has accomplished just as much or less than any other politician has. Only difference between her and them is she was picked to be a VP canidate, and we see that not that many people felt she could do that job right. So why couldn't Mrs. Obama become a politician in her own right? Hillary became a US Senator and they have similar educational backgrounds. But it's already clear that Gov. Palin isn't smart enough to walk in Mrs. Obama's shoes.  (Nov 26, 2008 | post #203)

But the colleges Mrs. Obama got into and graduated top of the class from, Gov. Palin couldn't even step foot in. Therefore, the jobs that Mrs. Obama had, Gov Palin wouldn't even be considered for. However, if Mrs. Obama was to run for state office under the same conditions Gov. Palin had in Alaska, it's reasonable to believe that she would win.  (Nov 26, 2008 | post #191)

It's not race

Cry me a river. Maybe we can build a generator on it and break our oil dependency. That would be the only perpose of this article. The election is over with, PRESIDENT-ELECT Obama won. Now let's talk about digging the country out of the hole its in and quit dwelling on the past.  (Nov 26, 2008 | post #10)

Palin video has some viewers talking turkey

She is an intersting character and an easy target. I thought the whold turkey killings was more funny than anything. But she always seems to walk into these kind of things, which leaves me to believe that she wouldn't be the best person to be a national leader. But there is worst i guess.  (Nov 25, 2008 | post #85)
