Mchigan Adventure's horrible policy for the severly disabled

I have some friends who are "disabled. " They don't want special treatment, they want to be accepted and treated like everyone else. When you ask for special treatment where do you draw the line. I thank this man for his service, but why should he get free admission when my disabled friends don't?  (Jun 19, 2009 | post #148)

Letterman's time is up...

I find it funny that this has created such an uproar. Where is all the outrage when the government is raising taxes, stipping people of their rights and trashing the constitution? Heaven forbid a late night talk show host makes a joke that is in poor taste, but by all means, let our government continue to steal our money, our rights and our freedom.  (Jun 13, 2009 | post #58)

Kyle Busch is an Idiot!

I'm on the fence on this one. It is nice to finally see a driver with some personality...not just "I'd like to thank the boys at the shop and <insert numeroous sponsors." > He is fun to watch as he is one of the best drivers in NASCAR today. However, once he steps out of the car...that's another story. He has a lot of growing up to do, but I hope he never loses that spark and turns into another "white bread" driver. Oh yeah, and anyone who ticks off Jr. fans is o.k. by me.  (Jun 10, 2009 | post #11)

Comcast Cable

We switched to Direct TV after Comcast raised our rates and took away channels. This was over 5 years ago and we are THRILLED with Direct TV. On very rare occasions we lose signal due to weather, but the longest it has been out is 10 minutes. We used to have our cable go out for hours. We love Direct TV...no more cable for us.  (Jun 10, 2009 | post #7)

Who really killed the Zimmer's & Katherine Brown?

The jury found him GUILTY...so much for not putting the gun in his hands. I hope he suffers in prison...what a lowlife.  (May 28, 2009 | post #85)

Who really killed the Zimmer's & Katherine Brown?

That would be because he didn't leave any witnesses alive.  (May 28, 2009 | post #77)

Gay Marriage

Were Adam and Eve ever married or was she the first unwed mother?  (May 19, 2009 | post #413)

True or false...a TRUE conservative would....

A true conservative would get the government out of our personal, private and business lives and let the free market take its course instead of trying to mess with it. A true conservative would also be against higher taxes and would be against government wasteful spending.  (May 18, 2009 | post #31)

Gay Marriage

My humble opinion, but if "people of faith" put as much time and energy helping those who are in need, and less time protesting gay marriage, and picketing movies, I think the world would be a better place. If God does not like homosexuals, let's let him take care of the "problem. " I prefer to live and let live, I know many people who are gay, and they are much more tolerant than many of my friends who go to church and are intolerant of anything that goes against what they are told to believe.  (May 14, 2009 | post #264)

New York Moves Closer to Same-sex Marriage

Maybe if the religious zealots worked as hard at helping people in poverty or volunteering at veterans homes as they do trying to run other peoples' lives, the world would be a better place.  (May 13, 2009 | post #6)

Gay Marriage

Maybe if we take away the tax exempt status of churches, they wouldn't care so much, because that tax money could be used to help everyone, not just members of a particular church.  (May 4, 2009 | post #144)
