Atheists Demand Christian Cross Be Removed From Public La...

Why do they need to be in their houses of worship? If I had a religion that asked me to wear a shirt displaying a scripture from the Koran, or a cross or a picture of a Mormon temple, would you ask me to turn the shirt inside out? Why would you need to suppress another person's religion?  (Feb 13, 2014 | post #268)

Evolution vs. Creation

Yep, actually, He 'created all of space' so we could all go through a test..... Okay, there's no use in trying to tell you. I just believe what I believe, and it makes me happy. That's all that really matters.  (Feb 13, 2014 | post #109067)

Wisdom Teeth

Hole in gum after wisdom teeth extraction

So is it normal to see a small piece of white stuff back there? I keep thinking it's dead tissue or food residue or mucus. Anyone else have the same thing???  (Feb 13, 2014 | post #739)

Maybe people should stop being so dang offended about everything! I don't believe God's name should be taken in vain, but I don't go around telling people to shut up when they say it. Everyone just calm down! You don't need EVERYTHING in the world to be the way you like it! There's 7 BILLION people on this Earth, not everyone's going to agree with you, and if they don't there's no need to complain about it!  (Feb 12, 2014 | post #241)

Evolution vs. Creation

How about both. God works by science. He created animals then said, "Okay you will all grow and reproduce in your respected elements." Including allowing natural selection to happen. Seeing that humans did NOT come from the same ancestors as modern day primates, it's quite simple: God PREPARED this world for us which included preparing the minerals and riches in the earth(creation and extinction of the dinosaurs).Once it was ready, God put us on earth. I'm sure no one's going to agree with this crazy belief of mine!  (Feb 12, 2014 | post #109034)

Gay/Lesbian

Gay marriage

It used to be considered a mental illness until it became so prominent in society. Psychologists, could debate that some causes of homosexual tendencies come from having a fatherly figure missing from your life, and that person trying to put that figure back in their life. There are TONS of 'reasons' for being gay. I believe you can be 'born with it', but it's a trial set by God. He gives people imperfect bodies all the time, and one of the roles in life is to overcome the body's tendencies, and let the spirit rule over the urges of the flesh.  (Feb 11, 2014 | post #27229)

Gay/Lesbian

Gay marriage

If you're interested in trying to correlate biblical events to things that really happened, could it be that Sodom and Gomorrah was actually Pompeii?! Sounds relevant, but I don't know enough about it to say that correctly. But it's interesting food for though. And if you're a Mormon, The Jaredites(An ancient race living in the Americas in the Book of Mormon times who killed each other off till extinction) could be the Anasazi Indians who, according to scientists, just disappeared. No evidence of their leaving their area of living, or any fossil record can be found after a certain date. They almost literally fell off the face of the Earth and disappeared. Again, food for thought. P.S: You can marry whoever you want in this country, but It's up to your personal beliefs whether or not you do it yourself. Being tolerant of gay/lesbian marriage means excepting the person. You don't have to be okay with the idea, or want to do it yourself. There's no need to hate or discriminate someone based on their personal beliefs. That's how holocausts happen.  (Feb 11, 2014 | post #27228)
