DST costs Hoosiers millions, study says

Actually before we moved to EST, In winter we were in sync with eastern time and summer we were in sync with central time.  (Feb 28, 2008 | post #66)

Purdue's Moore warms to his task

I felt the same way about the second half of the Big Ten season until yesterdays game. I think they will do a lot better the rest of the season than I did before the Ill game. I don't see them winning every game, I can see one or maybe two losses. (just as long as it doesn't happen at Bloomington). This is the Big Ten and after the upsets yesterday who knows what will happen.  (Feb 3, 2008 | post #47)

Moore's career-high leads Purdue past Illinois

Did anyone else notice Weber's Keady moment? Taking off his jacket when he got steamed? That was so funny, reminded me so much of the past. (and this is no disrespect to him because I am all for Ill when they are not playing Purdue). I hope Purdue can keep this up and win more big ones on the road, I was worried before this game started, but very happy with the results. I can see possibly one or two more losses, which may help them out by settling them down and not getting too cocky before the tournaments start. But, I see them doing a lot better the last part of regular season than expected just a few days ago.  (Feb 2, 2008 | post #92)

One dead in Northeastside pub shooting

At least Indy had to wait 3 and a half hours into the new year for the first homicide, Cincinnati only had to wait an hour and a half. http://www.wcpo.co m/news/local/story .aspx?content_id=0 3c82dfc-1625-4c5b- 9708-0a45450dea02 This city might not be as bad as we thought it was???  (Jan 1, 2008 | post #169)

Boilers bounce back

You forgot Fact 5: Breakfast Club was there to get drunk so you could sit through a game and not really care. Or, to pass out before the game started so you would not have to sit through the agony. Yeah, the Colletto years were great!!! I have to admit I am not the biggest Tiller fan because we need to move forward. We have come a long way from where Colletto had us. But Tiller is slowly running this program further down just like Keady did to the basketball program. Things need to change before they become irrevesible and we are back hoping for our first win half way through the season.  (Dec 27, 2007 | post #210)

Let it Out

I was so disappointed driving to work this morning. Over half of the decorations I was use to seeing the last few weeks were already taken down or not turned on. Hasn't anyone heard of the 12 days of Christmas???? It is not just a song and just because it is not the 25th anymore does not mean the Christmas season is over.  (Dec 26, 2007 | post #113)

Snow creeps into Central Indiana forecast

LET IT SNOW!!!!! Woo hoo, it is about time, I've missed it. I hope they got the totals wrong and we get more. But, I have to say I hate driving in it, there are way too many idiots out there that don't know how to drive. There is no happy medium, there are drivers who are going 5 mph and then there are the others that are going way too much over the speed limit. Please people, tomorrow please find that happy medium, if you have an SUV it does not give you a license to drive like an idiot and just stay aware of your surroundings and everyone can get to and from work safely.  (Dec 4, 2007 | post #35)

Freshmen shoot better

It would be nice for the Big Ten to win the challenge for once. (This is one of the rare occasions that I will be for IU)  (Nov 25, 2007 | post #19)

Freshmen shoot better

How can you say Purdue will lose like usual when they were one of the 3 Big Ten teams to win last year?(the other two were Wisconsin and Northwestern).  (Nov 25, 2007 | post #16)

You're not alone. I am in the same boat and would rather watch Family Guy than another baseball game.  (Oct 22, 2007 | post #251)

Tiller hints changes may be coming to Boilers backfield

The way Purdue has been playing, we might have a chance to beat Northwestern, and that is a slim chance. Tiller's time may be coming to an end depending on Nov. 17th. Watching how IU has been playing this year (with the exception of last week) they have been scary and they have the potential to blowing us out this year. I just hope it does not happen.  (Oct 16, 2007 | post #36)

I have been listening to it this morning and will probably listen to it all the way through Christmas. Something about Chirstmas music that makes me happy.  (Oct 9, 2007 | post #219)

Emmis moving its Indy hip-hop FM to talk

I will say what others have said on here before. XM radio (or the other one) is the way to go. The Indianapolis radio market sucks! It is the same thing on every channel with the exception of Hank or Jack, they actually play more than a couple same songs every hour. If you want a radio station like 103 use to be, they have it, you have a hair band station of the 80's, you have a grunge station, you have a true metal station, there is a punk station, and every other type of music you would want to hear. (and XM also have all the Big Ten football, mens BB, and womens BB games on there) I have had it for a year now and there is no way I would go back to regular radio. They actually play a large variety on most of the stations and they don't play a playlist over and over because it is popular music at that time (but they do have top 40 stations if that is your thing). You may even hear a band that you never heard of before and be introduced to something regular radio won't play. However, I may have to turn off the XM and turn on 93.1 once and a while now just to listen to the Christmas music. I don't care what anyone here says, there are some of us that loves Christmas music even if it is still October.  (Oct 9, 2007 | post #236)
