BLACK WOMAN SELLOUT. Queen Latifah

LOL What yall call "selling out" I call growing up. These people have realized that for one, there is no unity among Blacks. Two, you aren't really successful until you cross over. And lastly there's more to life than just being Black.  (Feb 7, 2014 | post #26)

Non-bm stealing bw! Who are you fooling?

LOL Sis I like you:) Although I don't like the 'F' word, it describes Anderson perfectly. A few other choice words come to mind, but they won't come out of my mouth.  (Oct 6, 2013 | post #355)

Who Wins Kate Hudson Vs. Serena Williams??

LOL!! I agree with GD on something at least. I'm a straight female, but since you wanna pair a skinny white girl who hasn't accomplished much with a Black woman who makes her living off her athletic skills, (#1!!) let's do it. If I was a man, Serena would win hands down. http://www.hotspor tsceleb.com/wp-con tent/uploads/2012/ 12/Serena-Williams -in-a-Bikin-150x15 0.jpg Compared to this lol: http://cdn03.cdn.s ocialitelife.com/w p-content/uploads/ 2011/08/kate-hudso n-no-makeup-080820 11-07.jpg  (Oct 6, 2013 | post #35)

72% of black mothers are single. Can't blame black men..

But it's not all women's fault. When a woman tells a man that she's pregnant with his child, a common reply is, "Well what you gone do?" Even if they're married, on LHH-ATL a very married Kirk encouraged his wife Rasheeda to get an abortion because the 'timing is wrong'. Then proceeds to cheat on her. But she went thru with the pregnancy, and I for one am proud and amazed at how she carried on. That could not have been a very pleasant experience for a pregnant lady.  (Sep 22, 2013 | post #218)

Yes, it's really sad. I think people that get abortions are selfish. They love to participate in the act of conceiving a child, and then kill the consequences. I understand that we all make mistakes, she ends up getting prego by accident by a man she knows is no good for anything besides sex, so now the child has to pay. No, let that baby LIVE! He didn't ask to be conceived or born, but now that he's here just make the best out of it. Either that or close your legs/tie AND burn your fallopian tubes/give it up for adoption so that the child can experience life and all that it has to offer. Everything you do doesn't just go away. That day of reckoning WILL come, and these men and women will not be able to look at our creator and the children they killed with a straight face.  (Sep 22, 2013 | post #217)

Aborted children suffer far more in the act of abortion, than if they were to have a chance to live. Life can be painful sometimes, for everybody. Nobody's exempt from the pressures of life, but there's always the sun shining even behind the clouds to remind us that we're BLESSED to have a life! Everyone has a chance to be happy, depending on decisions. You can be in the slums but have a great family filled with love. You can also be in a mansion with nothing but the walls to stare at, and just a big space that serves to echo your loneliness. Abortion maligns basic huuman rights that our Nation was built on. A fetus IS a human, not fully formed but nevertheless. It's a human life with emotions and a soul. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness is a right given to us by our Creator, and pro-choice folks like you violate His power and the Declaration of Independence.  (Sep 22, 2013 | post #215)

One more thing, I didn't say the WHOLE Topix, just the African-American section. There's other forums available, but for some reason white people and others like you choose to infest THIS one. Now why do you think that is?? And if I said, "Americans (we) are the -----, and they know it, that's why they're so mad." & the predicate was describing the noun, it would have been WORDED differently. Only a foreigner whose first language was not English could make that mistake. The pronoun would have been WE (Americans) and not THEY. (YALL) Such as, "Americans are the --- and we know it, that's why we're so mad." I'm not stupid. You're trying to push my buttons but my intellect, even at my age, can't be easily beat. If I don't know something, I'll just shut up until I do.  (Sep 20, 2013 | post #2939)

Well it's whatever, but as far as this thread and this entire forum, there is no Black Unity. I, personally, don't discriminate when it comes to men. I always said I would marry an African, as long as he's progressive and a Christian. To me, it seems like they have the best sense of morality and family values.  (Sep 20, 2013 | post #2937)

Read over your post, you're the one using improper grammar, and saying something that looks like part of another language. I'm not going to stoop to your level Anon, because God is the head of my life and He's who I answer to. It's not worth it to tell you or anyone else off and then live with the guilt. FYI: I have no significant amount of white blood in my gene pool. I'm 3/4 Black American and 1/4 Taino. I'm clearly a Black girl.  (Sep 20, 2013 | post #2936)

I must apologize, not for my feelings but for the use of foul language. Yesterday was a horrible day, my professor is a jerk, people on Topix are jerks, and there's really no excuse but I just lost my temper. It's like if someone of no relevance to you says or does something, no big deal you can just brush it off. On the other hand if it's someone you placed some faith in, it becomes a problem. Because of my multicultural ancestry, I have Caribbean roots based out of Puerto Rico and besides that I have always felt a kindred tie to any Black person, regardless of nationality. That has changed, I'm realizing deep seated issues that wasn't apparent to me before between various Black groups. Simply getting along despite differences of opinion should be on the agenda, rather than unity. Some may say it's synonymous but it's not. We have nothing in common other than skin color, neither do we seem to want similar things in life. But again, I must apologize for offending anybody with my words and simply let everyone know where I stand.  (Sep 17, 2013 | post #2917)

Shut up white person, I don't fit in with that stereotype. Men of every color hit on me everyday, so I don't have a problem finding a man if I wanted one. Who cares about any of that, Black American women aren't bringing it up, it's obviously of greater importance to you and everybody else who needs to feel better about themselves. Fact is, I live in America in an affluent area and I'm not seeing the broke-down, single black woman with ten kids that you all so love to portray us as. What I'm seeing, I'm loving and that's why we have so many haters. Like I said. Back to where you come from.  (Sep 17, 2013 | post #2916)
