Letter: Fiscally conservative and voting for Measure A

I guess Ron doesn't remember the last bond that we are still paying for. Maybe he is the only guy in town who actually knows where that new third high school is hiding.  (Friday Oct 17 | post #1)

Letter: Think and then vote no on Measure A

Great informative letter. I'm confident the voters in this city will see the light and soundly defeat this measure.  (Friday Oct 17 | post #1)

Vacaville mayoral candidate calls sign defacement an act ...

Oh come on!!! If this guy is so spineless that he has to whine racism every time anything bad happens to him then he is way to wimpy to be mayor. I have seen thousands of campaign signs defaced over the years and never considered race as a factor. In fact I have been wondering about the kids in woodland recently. It seems that none of them has figured out that a little black spray paint could really change the message on the " No on S and T" signs.  (Friday Oct 17 | post #1)

DUI checkpoints planned this weekend in Vacaville, Suisun...

You really should do a little research before you open your mouth and some more stupid falls out. Stopping cars at random, ie "DUI" checkpoints to check for valid drivers licenses has been ruled unconstitutional. Most agencies that run checkpoints do in fact flag cars in at random and are therefore operating an illegal search. If they have a set pattern as to which vehicles to flag in such as every third car then it is legal.  (Friday Oct 17 | post #26)

0.08 is simply an an arbitrary number. Some people lose all their faculties at 0.02 and are "drunk" whereas others can maintain complete control well above 0.08 even though the law will view them as "legally impaired".  (Friday Oct 17 | post #5)

More like easy Pickens for the cops figuring that fishermen drink a few beers while fishing. Find a guy driving a pickup with a bad taillight or worn wiper blades and pull him over hoping to smell beer.  (Tuesday Oct 14 | post #3)

Vacaville High School football player shot and killed

Oh look, Leanne is suffering from the same affliction as Jerry O., too many brain cells down the toilet and unable to remember their real name. Renee, aka DixonGirl has not posted in years and I'm pretty sure she's not coming back.  (Tuesday Oct 14 | post #11)

Have you lost so many brain cells Jerry that you can't remember all the stupid names you have posted under? How about "Jaren Dannette", that one was a classic.  (Tuesday Oct 14 | post #10)

Young sheep are "lambs", moron. Young goats on the other hand are referred to as kids and incidentally are way smarter than the idiot offspring that you raised.  (Tuesday Oct 14 | post #8)

Here you go, idiot. I know you're waaaay toooooo stuuuuupid to actually read the ruling but here is the pertinent overview. "In Delaware v. Prouse, a patrol officer made random vehicle stops along the highway to see whether drivers were licensed. The Supreme Court ruled that such stops violate the Fourth Amendment because they single out individuals for detention without any particularized suspicion of wrongdoing."  (Tuesday Oct 14 | post #24)

Another unintended result of the loony lib policies. Increase the minimum wage and those same people who benefit with a little more money end up getting the shaft when they have to pay more for goods and services that they use.  (Tuesday Oct 14 | post #2)

Could be, they need to set up checkpoints to target cyclists. Had any of the car drivers had any alcohol in their system you can bet they would have been charged for causing the death.  (Tuesday Oct 14 | post #2)

As well they should be. The big problem is the overtime pay collected for hours never worked.  (Tuesday Oct 14 | post #56)
