Feral cats are a growing problem at housing complexes

What is humane, compassionate, and non-lethal about abandoning a domestic pet into the wild to murder our native fauna?  (May 8, 2009 | post #254)

St. Bernards destroy 170 exotic birds

Compare these canine culprits to feral cats. If it had been cats killed those birds you'd have a dozen cat enablers in here posting wildly, "It's what cats do! They were only following their nature. Cats eat mostly mice, rats, and other vermin. They're filling a niche in our ecology!"  (Apr 9, 2009 | post #107)

Should cats be allowed oudoors?

Do please attend the City Council meeting, and mention the Federal Laws in place against people who knowing endanger protected animals and birds!  (Mar 26, 2009 | post #259)

Roaming cats raise readers' ire

True, I have taken a number of shots to my head, along with other parts of my anatomy. This has sensitized me until I have an allergic reaction to weapons, including shovels. I break out in a rash. Like so many of my Brothers my service was not voluntary to begin with, but we had it to do.  (Mar 24, 2009 | post #56)

What you said was this, "I would have smacked you on the head with your own shovel." I don't know where you are from, but where I was raised that is called a threat to do serious bodily harm or murder and is usually followed by a fight. As a combat veteran I have had a number of people, both individuals and armies, threaten my life and attempt my murder and I have obviously survived. Now, do you know how to debate or do you just threaten people and insult them?  (Mar 23, 2009 | post #51)

Fur and feathers may fly over Cape May cat control plan

Try telling that to the nesting mockingbird and Blue Jay pairs in my yard. Oh, you can't. The feral cats my neighbor feeds ate them!  (Mar 23, 2009 | post #47)

Fur and feathers may fly over Cape May cat control plan

Clearly the Trap, Neuter, Abandon crowd are here. Zero tolerance is the only way to insure some bird species are not wiped out!  (Mar 23, 2009 | post #46)

Fur and feathers may fly over Cape May cat control plan

You got it! There is no (0) niche in the Americas for the domesticated cat to fill. Our native animals evolved without them and are particularly vulnerable to them.  (Mar 23, 2009 | post #45)

Do unions believe what they say?

Both of the Unions I was a member of were affiliated with the AFL-CIO.  (Mar 22, 2009 | post #60)

"On the other hand, a person is approached by one or more individuals seeking to cajole him to sign a card of support, preferably in their presence.". I worked Union jobs and as a Shop Steward for thirty years and never saw such as that.  (Mar 22, 2009 | post #55)

Cats

Cats are pretty good at catching gofers

Cats are good at catching many species of endangered wildlife while getting run over or killed by dogs and should be kept indoors or on a leash.  (Jan 30, 2007 | post #2)

Feral cats pose a nuisance in Henlopen Acres

Feral and roaming cat enabler, we are your neighbors and we are complaining! The migratory birds in our yards go through yours, where they are preyed upon by the invasive feral pests you enable. You are placing our natural predators in the unnatural and one sided position of competing for food with those same invasive feral pests you choose to subsidize. You are choosing to subject your neighbors to the stench of cat urine and excrement. There is nothing ethical or laudible about it. Where is your compassion for our wildlife? What part of this is humane for them?  (Jan 30, 2007 | post #1)

We are advocates for the preservation and enjoyment of our native wildlife. It has been proven our wildlife is especially vulnerable to the millions of feral and roaming domestic cats because they evolved seperately.
