Brett Favre a topic Chicago Bears fans wish to avoid

LOL - totally agree!! I think Favre deserves a chance to prove that he's washed up. Brett, you had a great career but it's time to let go and go crawdaddy fishing or whatever they do in the bayou. GO BEARS, BEAR DOWN!!!  (May 6, 2009 | post #53)

Bears coach Lovie Smith still wants Devin Hester returnin...

If the focus is to have Hester assume the primary receiver role, then DO that and leave the "suicide squad" stuff to the young guys. I'm sure Devon wouldn't mind and neither would the rookie taking his place. I agree with the other posts that are down on Lovie & Co. We've watched him stink up the sidelines with bad decisions, fail to adjust the gameplan - when it obviously wasn't working, let his defence try to carry close games instead of attacking, etc. etc. AND completely blow a Super Bowl opportunity. C.J. Bacher hopeful taking shot with Chicago Bears

43 TD's vs. 43 Int.'s says it all. Have fun kid, but don't get your hopes up. GO BEARS, BEAR DOWN!!!  (May 1, 2009 | post #4)

Released Brett Favre might be missing piece for Vikings, ...

Why don't you post on the Indy Site? Oh yeah, I forgot that most of you rednecks don't have computers - let alone know how to spell. BTW - "overconfiden t" is ONE word. GO BEARS - TEAR 'EM UP!!!  (Apr 29, 2009 | post #71)

Chicago Bears grab raw talent, not sure things, on Day 2

We needed talent at receiver and got it. We needed talent in the pass rush and got it. We needed a replacement for Mike Brown and didn't get it. 2 out of 3 ain't bad! Good job JA GO BEARS, BEAR DOWN!!!  (Apr 27, 2009 | post #42)

2009 NFL draft: Safety Rashad Johnson thinks he'd be good...

Defence wins championships - any argument with that? If not, they should take this kid if he's available. With his interception ability, he might even turn into an option at wideout. Heh BEARSNUT - I agree with you man, the Cover 2 has been solved and should be dumped. It only works if you've got dominating tackles and an outside pass-rush and the Bears have neither right now. GO BEARS - DRAFT A STUD!!!  (Apr 21, 2009 | post #8)

Chicago Bears just don't have the pieces to land Anquan B...

Dave, I don't suppose there's any way Angelo could put together a compensation package that is essentially cash, in lieu of draft picks or personnel? Afterall, this is the pro's and that makes it all about money, right? Just thinking out loud. GO BEARS, TEAR 'EM UP!!!  (Apr 16, 2009 | post #2)

2009 schedule breaks Chicago Bears' way

Only 150 days till Game 1 - far out! The schedule sounds easy but, let's face it - every team wants to win. There are no gimmies - including Detroit - but I like our chances. Prediction: 12 wins 4 losses, Division Champs, NFC Champs, SuperBowl Champs! GO BEARS, TEAR 'EM UP!!!  (Apr 15, 2009 | post #8)

Plaxico Burress no answer for Chicago Bears

Heh DNW - thanx for the link. I agree with Dave on this one - Buress is a "legend in his own mind" just like a lot of other prima-donna players. It seems that wide receivers lead the league in this category. Stay away from him and find a kid in the draft. Where we really need help now is on defence, particularly the secondary - there's gotta be some more free agent help out there. GO BEARS, TEAR 'EM UP!!!  (Apr 8, 2009 | post #88)

Wonder if Lovie is still going to "get off the bus running"? Like most of you guys, I am thrilled with Cutler being a Bear. I just hope they let him play to his strengths. GO BEARS, TEAR 'EM UP!!!  (Apr 7, 2009 | post #47)

The "Jay Cutler Era" has begun - and not a minute too soon for all of us fans! I hope the kid has a super career as a Bear. If he stays healthy, gets decent blocking and a couple of good receivers, the sky is the limit. Welcome to ChiTown JC! GO BEARS, TEAR 'EM UP!!!  (Apr 6, 2009 | post #111)
