Trade Ben Roethlisberger? Would it Actually Happen?

no one has defense in this league any more.  (Dec 13, 2013 | post #9)

LeBeau intends on returning to Steelers in 2013

If a defense in the top 10 year in and year out is boring, then I'll take boring any day of the week. Indeed it was a bit of down year, but the defense in totality was not the issue.  (Jan 1, 2013 | post #2)

Steelers v cowboys.

I think every team tries for some solid 1st rounders; I've never heard a GM say they want to draft the next Ryan Leaf. Roethlisberger did not look scared, it was two beat up teams going at it, and one (Cowboys) grabbed the final opportunity and won the game.  (Dec 16, 2012 | post #4)

Not sure about the once in a lifetime thing, seems as though the Raiders of recent have had our number for a number of reasons or for unknown reasons, depending on the perspective. That said, I wouldn't quantify the hit on Heyward-Bey as dirty, he at least was involved in the play and Clark seemed contrite after the hit. For me at least, I'd never use the excuses or reasoning "if we had this guy or that guy," every team has injuries. Each team has to field the best 11 on a side they can.  (Dec 2, 2012 | post #9178)

Steelers Beat Baltimore

After last week, we'll take the win and enjoy it for now. We still have another with Cincy down the road.  (Dec 2, 2012 | post #2)

Batch was nice today...executed to perfection, even with a 3rd Center.  (Dec 24, 2011 | post #12)

Ravens, Steelers getting ready to play the feud

I am thinking the latter, in that Maryland football may have some trouble. For the most part, that had pretty favorable schedule and never got on track. I'll give Edsall some more time, but I am just not impressed thus far, even aside from the W-L records. A few buddies of mine and I went to the Green Turtle near CP for one of his radio shows with Johnny, and he seemed a bit arrogant at times at some of the questions he was asked from the callers and patrons. As for Tebow, I can't say that I was a fan of his when he played at Florida...but to be honest, I really can't say anything bad about him. I find it somewhat refreshing that a guy is that honest and does things for the betterment of those around him, rather than for the attention and potential earnings. NFLers are seemingly in trouble with the law on a daily basis, so to have guys like Tebow, I can't see it being a bad thing that's for sure.  (Dec 22, 2011 | post #4422)

I'd take any of the Steeler back ups over any of the Browns' qb's that is for sure.  (Dec 22, 2011 | post #5)

Never Make The Superbowl

The Steelers from the 70's are a tad old don't you think? Polamalu overrated? Surely you jest. Of this decade, there are only two safeties you game plan for, Ed Reed being one and Troy being the other. I'd take my chances with either one of those fellas. Harrison, dirty? Depends on your definition of dirty... Did you stomp on someone's head? No. Did he hit an official? No. Did he step on someone's helmet/head? No. Did he crush someone out of bounds or after the whistle? No. And then I can't even make sense of your rant of Roethlisberger.  (Dec 18, 2011 | post #3)
