Anyone know if there is a forum on the IBo website to express product ideas and to make our warehouses more flexible. Ours still operates like it did before we owned our routes. The excuse was to keep us out selling, but if you need to be forced to push with the money we are spending.... You're in the wrong business  (Apr 23, 2015 | post #6008)

I can't believe S-L doesn't try to reach out and try to get feedback from IOs. When you google Snyders most of this terrible stuff pops up. They should fly in successful IOs and guys with lil routes to try maybe get feedback from us. And possibly treat it like a partnership  (Feb 23, 2015 | post #5930)

Lol y would they put the coupon on the item for repeat. It's a waste if they don't like the item. If all u see is negative that's the success u will have. They aren't perfect but if all complaints only come from certain areas all the time, must be management issue  (Nov 23, 2014 | post #5788)

All you guys cryin that new items are duds aren't doin the product any justice. New items are guaranteed, so put them everywhere. New item are key to our success, although I agree SL's imagination on flavors are as simple as you can get. NEW ITEMS DRIVE THE MARKET. If u treat them like dogs (like every small route does) they will end up dogs. On all my hottest i Displays I always throw a slow flavor or two for the chance of impulse. Just trying to help some of the inexperienced IO's out  (Nov 23, 2014 | post #5784)

Again depends on your situation with SOH, it's all subjective. What's not is how they scrape from equity for no apparent reason. They say its to cover cost of the transaction, but if thats true, the cost would be flat . It's not like they physically move the money in a wheel barrel. They really need that fixed, its embarassing for them for any new perspective buyers  (Oct 30, 2014 | post #5751)

My area near Rochester is pretty solid. A good group of management, my only complaint is they constantly have thier hand in our pocket. I bust my ass and have since coming here to grow my route where it's very efficient. Literally with no help from them except for when they help me merchandise. How the hell do they justify taking a % of our EQUITY that WE created. If I was gonna sell that would be the thing i tell the future iO. This lying and creeping around words in our contract do nothing but make SOH look awful. We must STAND TOGETHER AND WRITE THE MARKET MGRS AND GET OUR VOICE HEARD!!  (Oct 28, 2014 | post #5745)

they will never pickup anything (that actually sells) because if they ever merge or decide to buy us out the costs would be crazy. Just do you best with what they offer and one of these years they will realize how upset most of us are about having to work with a company that works for themselves and not their PARTNERS  (Jan 22, 2014 | post #5066)

if thats one thing i wish the company would look at, the rules nvr changed once we bought rules cuz it was the old way to make sure everyone was putting in full days. With the money invested i cant see anyone with a brain tryin to get done early everyday. Our warehouse has gates and if they tried we could work around them unloading a trailer, but would be nice to have flexibility in warehouse time. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THIS CHANGED  (Jan 22, 2014 | post #5065)

They tell us that we are the number 2 salty snack distributor but they are micro managing everything that it's hurting business. They need to just focus on SNyders-Lance lines and get us the product we need before acquiring another company that we wouldn't get to sell too. Whether its a bin or warehouse they have serious stock problems. I consistently cut 10-15 cases a wk and it just gets accepted to say we cant be perfect.  (Dec 7, 2013 | post #4949)

which makes u think that when our loans are done, what big snack company will they buy. Just so they can adjust routes and sell us another dream. And how much do they care, we have a company here that sells snack factory pretz crisps and utz.  (Nov 14, 2013 | post #4910)

its a great idea but we are in a time where people don't see big picture and don't think they can make a difference. If they do propose such a ridiculous plan "we" have to stand up!!!!!!! They can't operate without us and are public ally traded. Shareholders dont like work turmoil som they would nvr let it get ugly  (Oct 26, 2013 | post #4801)

I have been hearing this "shelf looks low" comments from management to other IOS. Truth is, if they EVER wanna get serious in stores they will realize we need a stale cap just like all the other companies that operate with IOs. Otherwise we will ALWAYS operate on the non aggressive side. Unless of course u have heavy hitter stores. Would a 1 or 2% stale cap bankrupt S--L ? Its ridiculous we tolerate this  (Oct 23, 2013 | post #4774)

Anyone excited about the new items on "our" website? Pretty good favors coming. Oh yeah my negative comment would be with what space? Also no mgrs care about this site cuz it literally is 10 people out of 3000 and nothing happens from it. If they cared they would address the 10,000 comments about giving us a lil stale cap or another percentage on our commission.  (Oct 23, 2013 | post #4773)
