What you should avoid are products that contain sulfates, which is pretty much everything on the store shelves. These products are bad for your hair and your scalp. You can skip days but if you want to wash your hair everyday, try some natural products that do not contain ingredients that you can't pronounce. Try baking soda with water and apple cider vinegar, or just wash with warm water.
